💥 PRECISION STRIKES IN BEIRUT AND WIDER WAVE ACROSS LEBANON: A short while ago, the IDF precisely struck senior Hezbollah terrorists in the Beirut area. The IDF said the wave of strikes followed projectiles launched from Lebanese territory toward the State of Israel.
The Israeli Air Force and the Israeli Navy, guided by IDF intelligence and the Northern Command, struck dozens of Hezbollah and Iranian terrorist regime command centers throughout Lebanon, particularly in the Daheiya area in Beirut. The Israeli Navy also struck a site used by Hezbollah to store weapons in the Tyre area.
The IDF said the command centers were used by the Iranian terrorist regime to deepen its connection with Hezbollah, enabling many attacks against Israeli civilians over recent years, including during Operation “Northern Arrows.” The IDF stated Hezbollah chose to join the Iranian campaign and will face consequences for attacks against the State of Israel.
The IDF said it will operate against Hezbollah’s decisions to join the campaign and act on behalf of the Iranian regime, and will not allow harm to the State of Israel, particularly to civilians of northern Israel. The IDF added it remains prepared for multi-front combat against threats to Israel.
🛸 JOINT AIR–NAVAL DEFENSE: DOZENS OF UAVS INTERCEPTED: Since the beginning of Operation “Roaring Lion,” the Israeli Air Force and the Israeli Navy have operated together to intercept dozens of UAVs launched toward the State of Israel.
The Israeli Air Force intercepted several UAVs launched from Iran over southern and northern Israel, and additional UAVs before they crossed into Israeli territory. The Israeli Navy also intercepted a UAV before it crossed into Israeli territory, with footage showing an interception by an Israeli Navy missile ship.
