π₯ STRIKES ACROSS SOUTHERN LEBANON: Over the Shabat the IDF struck approximately 150 Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure sites in southern Lebanon, including weapons storage facilities, command centers, rocket launchers, and additional sites used to advance and execute attacks against IDF soldiers.
β CLOSE-QUARTERS ENCOUNTERS WITH HEZBOLLAH OPERATIVES: Earlier today, troops of the Givati Brigade's Reconnaissance Unit exchanged fire with Hezbollah operatives in Zawtar al-Sharqiyah in southern Lebanon.
The incident took place at around 8 a.m. One officer was severely wounded, and the unit commander, a lieutenant colonel, was lightly wounded.
The severely wounded officer was immediately airlifted to a hospital. The unit commander was evacuated several hours later after medical officials determined hospitalization was required.
Following the encounter, IDF soldiers launched searches in the area and eliminated two terrorists involved in the incident. Additional Hezbollah infrastructure in the area was also struck.
In a separate incident this morning, an IDF officer was severely injured and another officer was lightly injured during a close-quarters encounter with terrorists in southern Lebanon.
In both incidents, the officers were evacuated for medical treatment, and their families were notified.
β οΈ OFFICER SEVERELY WOUNDED IN DRONE IMPACT: Yesterday, an IDF officer was severely wounded following the impact of a suspicious aerial target in southern Lebanon.
According to the IDF, the officer was injured in an apparent Hezbollah explosive drone incident.
βοΈ VEHICLE STRUCK NEAR TEBNIT: Earlier today, the IDF identified a vehicle moving suspiciously toward IDF soldiers near Tebnit in southern Lebanon.
The vehicle was traveling through an evacuated active combat zone. The IDF said it had concrete indications that Hezbollah intended to direct fire at soldiers from the same area, alongside additional intelligence indicating extensive Hezbollah terrorist activity there.
Following the identification of the vehicle and the threat assessment, the vehicle was struck.
An initial inquiry indicates that two officers and one soldier from the Lebanese Army were inside the vehicle.
The IDF stated that movement in the area requires coordination due to the active combat zone and emphasized: βThe IDF operates against the Hezbollah terrorist organization, not against the Lebanese Army.β
The incident is under review.
π‘οΈ HOSTILE AIRCRAFT ALERTS IN NORTHERN ISRAEL: Sirens regarding hostile aircraft infiltration were activated in Even Menachem, Shomera, Zar'it, Margaliot, and Misgav Am over the course of the day.
Some alerts were later determined to be false identifications.
Near Zar'it, the IDF identified the impact of a hostile aircraft near an area where IDF soldiers are operating in southern Lebanon. The aircraft did not cross into Israeli territory, and no injuries were reported.
In another incident, the Israeli Air Force intercepted one hostile aircraft, while two additional hostile aircraft fell near areas where IDF soldiers are operating in southern Lebanon. No injuries were reported.
Additional alerts were triggered after surface-to-air missile launches were identified targeting Israeli Air Force aircraft operating in the area. The incident concluded without injuries or damage to the aircraft.
The Home Front Command issued precautionary directives for communities along the confrontation line, instructing residents to enter protected spaces upon activation of alerts.
