🛡️ IDF SAYS THERE IS NO CHANGE TO CIVILIAN GUIDELINES DESPITE ONLINE RUMORS OF POSSIBLE LARGE-SCALE ROCKET FIRE

⚠️ IDF: NO CHANGE TO HOME FRONT COMMAND GUIDELINES: IDF Spokesman Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin addressed widespread social media rumors about a possible large-scale escalation in rocket fire tonight. He said there is currently no change in the Home Front Command’s defensive policy for civilians.

Defrin said the IDF remains prepared with strong defensive systems and continues ongoing situation assessments. He added that the public will be updated immediately if any changes occur.

🛡️ HOME FRONT COMMAND: DAILY ASSESSMENTS AS OPERATION “ROARING LION” CONTINUES: Home Front Command Commander Brig. Gen. Shay Kalper said Israel is now in the twelfth day of Operation “Roaring Lion.” He said the operation’s objective is to significantly degrade the Iranian regime and its military capabilities while reducing harm to Israel’s home front.

Kalper acknowledged the challenging security reality and the difficult night of multiple sirens. He said this has been especially difficult for residents of northern Israel, who have lived under prolonged tension for the past two and a half years.

🛡️ WARNING TIMES DIFFER BY THREAT ORIGIN: Kalper said warning times vary depending on where attacks originate. He explained that threats from the “third circle,” such as Iran, allow earlier alerts before sirens, while attacks from Lebanon leave significantly less time to react.

He said Israel has some of the most advanced defensive systems in the world, but they are not hermetic. He stressed that civilians must follow Home Front Command instructions and enter protected spaces when alerts are issued.

🛡️ IDF CONTINUES OPERATIONS AGAINST IRAN AND HEZBOLLAH: Kalper said the IDF is operating around the clock against Iranian ballistic and nuclear capabilities. He added that the military is also carrying out significant operations on the northern front to weaken Hezbollah.

He said that despite renewed fighting and uncertainty, the IDF is actively defending northern communities and operating beyond the border to reduce the threat.

🛡️ CIVILIAN RESILIENCE REMAINS A KEY FACTOR: Kalper said the Home Front Command reviews civilian defensive policy every day. He said those decisions balance the protection of Israeli civilians with the continued functioning of the economy and education systems.

He concluded by wishing recovery to the wounded, offering condolences to bereaved families, and praising the resilience of Israel’s civilians. He said their steadfastness remains critical to achieving victory.
