According to the officials, Netanyahu believed burning oil tanks would create chaos within Iran’s leadership, and the strikes triggered Iranian retaliatory attacks on regional oil facilities.
US President Trump told Israeli Channel 14: "Is there another leader in Israel who could do what Netanyahu has done? No, I really don't think so. You would not have had the State of Israel if Netanyahu had not been in office. I support him".

"About 250 of these cases involved individuals who provided intelligence on target locations, had contact with hostile groups, and attempted to disrupt public order," he said.
