Approximately 10 Iranian security personnel, including members of the IRGC’s Basij paramilitary forces, were reported killed in drone attacks on four checkpoints. An Iranian official told Fars News Agency: "The targeting of checkpoints in Tehran is a joint operation between Mossad and pro-monarchist elements to infiltrate terrorists and carry out sabotage actions in the country".
Iranian media also carried claims that Basij checkpoints across Iran were attacked by hundreds of small suicide drones.
