📍 HEZBOLLAH TUNNEL COMPLEX EXPOSED UNDER MAJDAL ZOUN: The IDF revealed that troops of the 551st Brigade, operating under the 91st Division approximately 10 kilometers inside Lebanon in accordance with the understandings, uncovered a significant underground Hezbollah terror tunnel deliberately located beneath the village of Majdal Zoun.
The findings indicated the village had been fortified and filled with terrorist infrastructure, including a major underground tunnel network, further demonstrating Hezbollah’s deliberate practice of embedding terrorist infrastructure within civilian areas.
During the operation, more than 20 Hezbollah terrorists were eliminated, including more than 10 Radwan Force terrorists. Troops also dismantled more than 50 terrorist infrastructure sites, including observation posts and weapons storage facilities.
❌ HUNDREDS OF WEAPONS AND MULTIPLE LAUNCH SHAFTS FOUND: Troops from the Yahalom Unit located a significant underground tunnel more than 200 meters long and over 25 meters deep.
The tunnel contained four launch shafts aimed at the State of Israel, 12 rooms, and hundreds of weapons. The complex included living quarters and rooms used to store explosive devices, anti-tank missiles, and UAVs.
🎯 OCTOBER 7 ABDUCTOR ELIMINATED IN GAZA: Over the weekend, the IDF and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) struck in southern Gaza and eliminated Zaki Youssef Mahmoud Abu Mustafa, the Nukhba commander of the Khan Yunis Brigade of the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization.
According to the IDF, Abu Mustafa infiltrated Kibbutz Nir Oz during the October 7 massacre and took part in the abduction of Yagil Yaakov. The military said photographs collected by the IDF document him inside Israeli territory during the abduction.
The IDF stated that in recent months Abu Mustafa played a significant role in rebuilding the terrorist organization's military capabilities in Gaza in violation of the ceasefire agreement. He also advanced numerous attacks against IDF troops and attempted to train terrorists at Nasser Hospital while exploiting the hospital to advance terrorist activity.
Due to his recent activities and the immediate threat he posed to IDF troops, Abu Mustafa was eliminated in a precise strike.
❌ ADDITIONAL HAMAS NUKHBA TERRORIST ELIMINATED: In a separate strike, the IDF and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) eliminated Mohammed Osama Abd al-Aziz Saba al-Eish, a Hamas Nukhba terrorist.
According to the military, al-Eish worked to train and instruct terrorists and was involved in recruiting additional operatives to the organization.
🛡️ PRECAUTIONS TAKEN BEFORE STRIKES: The IDF stated that prior to the strikes, steps were taken to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance.
The military added that Southern Command troops remain deployed in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue operating to remove any immediate threat.
