The General Security Apparatus is a central clandestine body responsible for securing senior Hamas officials, maintaining communications between them, coordinating meetings, facilitating movement between emergency facilities, and producing intelligence assessments that support Hamas leadership decision-making and terrorist operations.
Among those eliminated was Hassan Rabah Hassan Labad, Deputy Head of the General Security Apparatus and a central figure in developing directives and decision-making within the organization.
Also eliminated were Asim Amin Shalash Shubair, Abdullah Ata Younes Abu Kaloub, and Muhammad Naaman Zaki Abu Mark, who served as senior officials within the apparatus and played key roles in its decision-making processes.
According to the IDF, the operatives were eliminated after recently engaging in efforts to rebuild Hamas and assist its leadership in advancing terrorist activity against Israel and IDF forces.
❌ Hezbollah operative eliminated and weapons cache seized: IDF soldiers identified and eliminated a Hezbollah terrorist armed with a Kalashnikov rifle yesterday in close-quarters combat near IDF troops operating north of the Litani River.
Several hours later, soldiers raided a Hezbollah weapons storage facility in the area and located dozens of weapons, including Kalashnikov rifles, shotguns, a surface-to-air missile, ammunition, grenades, and additional combat equipment.

🕯️ Fallen IDF officer named: The IDF announced the death of Cpt. Eitan Shmuel Lemberg, 21, of the 75th Battalion, 7th Armored Brigade, from Mishmar HaShiv'a.
At approximately 4:00 p.m., a Hezbollah operative fired an anti-tank guided missile at an Israeli tank operating north of the Litani River, killing Cpt. Lemberg.
The IDF said it immediately responded by striking Hezbollah infrastructure in the area with air and artillery fire.
