💥 IDF Unit 869 continues operations in southern Lebanon to remove threats to the State of Israel. The “Shahaf” Unit has been conducting intelligence collection, fire direction, and surveillance-based strike operations in cooperation with the Israeli Air Force.
Over the past two weeks, troops struck and eliminated more than 20 terrorists who were advancing terrorist attack plans and posed a threat to Israeli forces. Troops also dismantled several terrorist infrastructures, including structures used by Hezbollah terrorists to launch explosive drones at IDF troops.
❌ IDF soldiers of the Givati Brigade have been operating north of the Litani River to eliminate Hezbollah terrorists and remove threats to Israeli civilians. Since operations began in the area, more than 40 Hezbollah terrorists have been eliminated.
Over recent days, troops located several Hezbollah weapons storage facilities inside civilian structures in the areas of Zawtar al-Gharbiyah and Zawtar al-Sharqiyah. The weapons found included Kalashnikov rifles, anti-tank missiles and launchers, magazines, grenades, communication devices, drones, and additional military equipment.
One storage facility, located inside a civilian building and used by Hezbollah’s Radwan Force terrorists, contained dozens of weapons alongside a baby crib and civilian infrastructure. According to the IDF, the weapons were intended for terror attacks against troops operating in the area.
The IDF said the findings are another example of Hezbollah operating within the civilian population and exploiting civilian infrastructure for terrorist activity.
