🎯 ELIMINATION IN BEIRUT: The IDF says the Israeli Navy struck in the Beirut area yesterday and eliminated Muhammad Ali Kourani, a terrorist from the IRGC Quds Force.
According to the military, he was advancing terror attacks directed by Iranian intelligence officials.
The strike was carried out based on intelligence from the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet).
The IDF says Iranian intelligence elements continue operating from Lebanese territory to direct and advance terror attacks.
⚠️ MISSILE INTERCEPTION OVER LEBANON: Lebanese media reported that fragments from an intercepted missile struck Jounieh and the nearby town of Sahel Alma, north of Beirut, a short while ago.
Reuters cited two Lebanese security sources saying an Iranian ballistic missile was intercepted over Lebanon this afternoon, in what they described as a first.
One of the sources said the interception was carried out by a “foreign naval vessel,” apparently referring to the United States.
Some unverified reports say the missile was launched from Iran.
The IDF denied carrying out an airstrike in the area.
It said it is looking into the reports.
🪖 IDF EXERCISE IN ESHKOL AREA: The IDF says a military exercise will begin tomorrow morning in the Eshkol Regional Council area.
Residents may notice increased movement of security forces and vehicles, along with sounds of explosions.
No entry of IDF forces into communities is planned, except for those that were informed in advance and coordinated beforehand.
The exercise was planned as part of the 2026 annual training program.
In the event of a real incident, residents will be updated by security forces.
