🎦 HEZBOLLAH EXPLOSIVE PIT AND WEAPONS STORAGE FOUND: Reserve troops operating south of the Forward Defense Line uncovered a booby-trapped Hezbollah pit containing an explosive device weighing approximately 900 kilograms, intended to harm IDF forces operating in the area.
In a separate operation, troops located a Hezbollah position containing mortar shells and rockets intended to target Israeli civilians and IDF forces.
❌ HEZBOLLAH TERRORISTS ELIMINATED AND WEAPONS CONFISCATED: Earlier this week, IDF soldiers identified two Hezbollah terrorists south of the Forward Defense Line who posed an imminent threat. The Israeli Air Force, guided by the soldiers, eliminated them.
Over the past 24 hours, IDF soldiers located and confiscated firearms, grenades, magazines, missiles, and additional military equipment belonging to Hezbollah terrorists.
💥 IDF STRIKES HEZBOLLAH INFRASTRUCTURE NORTH OF THE FORWARD DEFENSE LINE: Yesterday, the IDF struck Hezbollah infrastructure sites in several areas of southern Lebanon, including loaded and ready-to-launch launchers, weapons storage facilities, and military structures used to advance attacks against IDF soldiers and Israel.
In a separate incident, IDF soldiers identified three Hezbollah terrorists advancing a shooting attack against the troops. The Israeli Air Force struck and eliminated them.
🛡️ HEZBOLLAH DRONES TARGET IDF TROOPS: Hezbollah launched several explosive drones yesterday that detonated near IDF soldiers operating south of the Forward Defense Line in southern Lebanon.
One IDF soldier was lightly injured, evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment, and his family was notified.
🛡️ MULTIPLE AERIAL TARGETS INTERCEPTED FROM LEBANON: This morning, Israeli forces identified and intercepted suspicious aerial targets in the area where IDF soldiers are operating in southern Lebanon. The targets did not cross into Israeli territory, and sirens were sounded only where required by protocol.
Following hostile aircraft infiltration sirens in Avivim, the Israeli Air Force intercepted a UAV launched from Lebanon before it crossed into Israeli territory.
In additional incidents, interceptors were launched toward suspicious aerial targets in the operational area, including near Metula. The targets did not cross into Israeli territory, and the results of some interceptions remain under review.
🛡️ OVERNIGHT NORTHERN ISRAEL ALERTS: Last night, sirens sounded in several areas of northern Israel after suspicious aerial targets were identified.
The Israeli Air Force intercepted at least one target before it crossed into Israeli territory. Missile and rocket alerts were activated due to concerns of falling debris from the interceptor. No injuries were reported.
🕯️ MINISTRY OF DEFENSE CONTRACTOR KILLED: Earlier yesterday, an employee of an engineering company carrying out projects on behalf of the Ministry of Defense was killed during IDF and security forces activity in southern Lebanon.
His family was notified by the Israel Police. The IDF and Ministry of Defense extended condolences to the family.
