๐ฏ HAMAS COMMANDERS ELIMINATED: Earlier this week, the IDF eliminated Ahmad Hisham Mahmoud Louh in a precise aerial strike in the southern Gaza Strip. Louh was the last sniper cell commander in Hamasโ Nuseirat Battalion. His elimination follows a series of eliminations of sniper cell commanders in the battalion.
In a separate precise aerial strike in the northern Gaza Strip on Monday, the IDF eliminated Mahmoud Ali Mahmoud Taroush, a platoon commander in Hamasโ military wing who infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7th Massacre.
The IDF said both terrorists had attempted throughout the war, including recently, to advance attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians. They continued to pose a threat and were eliminated.
โ WEAPONS FACILITIES DISMANTLED: Over the past week, the IDF struck and dismantled several Hamas weapons storage facilities in the central and northern Gaza Strip. One had been established inside a mosque in northern Gaza.
According to the IDF, the weapons were intended for use against troops operating in the Yellow Line area and against Israeli civilians. The facilities were dismantled to remove the threat.
The IDF said the mosque facility was another example of terrorist organizations in Gaza exploiting civilian infrastructure, including religious sites, to store weapons among the civilian population and facilitate terrorist activity. Advance warnings were issued before the strikes to reduce the risk of civilian harm.
