🎯 ARMED TERRORISTS ELIMINATED DURING WEAPONS TRANSFER IN GAZA: IDF troops operating in the southern Gaza Strip identified several armed Islamic Jihad terrorists and additional armed terrorists transferring weapons into a vehicle yesterday.
The weapons were intended for attacks against IDF troops operating in the area. The IDF struck the terrorists from the air while they were inside and adjacent to the vehicle, eliminating the threat.
The IDF released footage of the armed terrorists transferring the weapons and of the subsequent strike.
⚠️ MILITARY EXERCISE PLANNED IN WESTERN NEGEV: A military exercise will take place Wednesday morning in the northern part of the western Negev.
Increased movement of security forces, vehicles and aircraft will be noticeable, and sounds of gunfire will be heard in the area.
The exercise was planned in advance as part of the IDF’s 2026 training program. There is no concern of a security incident.
❗️ IDF FIRES WARNING SHOTS AFTER LEBANESE FORCES ENTER SECURITY ZONE: IDF soldiers operating in southern Lebanon identified Lebanese Armed Forces personnel accompanied by an engineering vehicle crossing approximately 150 meters into the Security Zone near Zawtar al-Sharqiyah earlier Tuesday.
According to the IDF, the Lebanese personnel breached barriers contrary to the understandings between the parties. Israeli soldiers fired warning shots into the air only, without endangering the Lebanese forces, to distance them from the area.
The Lebanese forces withdrew, and no injuries were reported.
The IDF said the location was not part of the designated pilot area and called on the Lebanese Armed Forces to continue operating in accordance with the understandings and within agreed areas. It warned that entering other areas without prior coordination could endanger Lebanese troops.
🔸 TRUMP AND LEBANESE PRESIDENT DISCUSS ISRAEL, HEZBOLLAH AND ABRAHAM ACCORDS: Lebanese President Joseph Aoun arrived at the White House and was welcomed by President Trump.
President Trump said: “The Abraham Accords were a success, and soon you will see many countries joining.”
A reporter asked: “The Lebanese Army said today that Israeli forces opened fire in proximity to Lebanese troops that were deploying to one of the pilot zones. Are you prepared to take any steps to put pressure on Israel to withdraw?”
President Trump responded: “I just heard about that. We will be looking at it”.
The reporter’s description that the Lebanese troops were deploying to a pilot zone differs from the IDF’s statement that the area entered by the Lebanese forces was not part of the pilot area.
Trump also told Aoun: “If the President wanted me to speak to Hezbollah — you know he's lived with Hezbollah for a long time — I would”.
Aoun said: “I’ve been looking forward to meeting such a great president like yourself.”
Trump replied: “See? He knows how to get to me. Now, he can have anything.”
🛡️ U.S., ISRAEL AND LEBANON EXPLORE HEZBOLLAH DISARMAMENT OPTIONS: The U.S., Israel and Lebanon are considering several potential approaches for disarming Hezbollah, according to The Wall Street Journal.
One proposal would have the U.S. train, equip and vet elite Lebanese Army units. Those forces would gradually replace IDF troops in southern Lebanon before potentially attempting to disarm Hezbollah if necessary.
Other options include Syrian assistance in cutting Hezbollah’s supply routes or continued Israeli military operations to further weaken the terrorist organization.
