❌ IDF ELIMINATES ARMED TERRORIST IN SAMARIA OPERATION: IDF soldiers and Israel Border Police, guided by the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet), operated overnight against terrorism in Aqraba and surrounding communities, including Qabalan, Usarin and Yatma. A separate military account also cited activity in Awarta.
In Aqraba, south of Shechem, troops sought to question Abd al-Karim Muhammad Salem Khader, whom the IDF identified as a terrorist affiliated with a terrorist organization. The IDF said Khader threw an improvised Molotov cocktail and explosive device at the troops, causing no injuries, before taking cover inside a building.
Troops surrounded the structure and employed the tactic known as a “pressure cooker,” involving escalating fire against a building to force suspects out. Palestinian media reported that shoulder-launched missiles were fired at the building and that a bulldozer demolished part of it. Soldiers from the Nahal Brigade Reconnaissance Unit eventually entered and identified Khader armed with a knife “with which he intended to attack our forces,” according to the IDF, and eliminated him. The Palestinian WAFA news agency reported that Israeli forces took his body.
The IDF said four wanted individuals were apprehended, including three terrorists involved in weapons trafficking and another who was planning an attack in the immediate term. Forces questioned approximately 60 wanted individuals while searching about 70 locations and located a grenade launcher, ammunition and additional military equipment.
✈️ IAF TARGETS GAZA CITY TERROR OPERATIVE AND HAMAS INFRASTRUCTURE IN KHAN YOUNIS: The Israeli Air Force targeted a terror operative in Gaza City and struck Hamas infrastructure sites in the southern Gaza Strip, according to the IDF.
Gazan media reported several people wounded in a strike in Gaza City’s Sheikh Radwan neighborhood and additional wounded in strikes in Khan Younis. The IDF said further details would be provided later.
