⚠️ NORTHERN READINESS MEASURES: Following the IDF strike in Beirut yesterday, the military is continuing situational assessments in the northern sector.
As part of those assessments, events that had previously received exemptions from Home Front Command defensive guidelines in northern border communities have been canceled due to the possibility of Hezbollah fire toward the area.
The IDF urged the public to remain vigilant and emphasized that there is currently no change to Home Front Command guidelines. Any future changes will be communicated in an orderly manner to the public and relevant authorities.
🎯 NETANYAHU ON THE BEIRUT ELIMINATION: Prime Minister Netanyahu said: "Yesterday evening, we eliminated the commander of Hezbollah's Radwan Force in the heart of Beirut. This is the same senior terrorist who led the plan to conquer the North. He thought he could continue to direct the attacks on our forces, on our communities, from his hidden terror headquarters in Beirut. He apparently read in the press that he has immunity in Beirut. Well, so he read. And that will no longer happen.
In the last month, we have eliminated more than 200 Hezbollah terrorists, 200 terrorists who acted against the citizens of Israel and IDF soldiers. We are doing the same thing in Gaza – eliminating terror cells, including yesterday.
I say to our enemies in the clearest possible way: no terrorist has immunity. Anyone who threatens the State of Israel – his blood is on his own head.

🚀 HEZBOLLAH FIRE AND IDF INTERCEPTIONS: Over the past several hours, the Israeli Air Force intercepted several projectiles and suspicious aerial targets launched toward areas where IDF troops are operating in southern Lebanon.
Hezbollah also launched explosive drones that detonated adjacent to Israeli forces in the area. No IDF injuries were reported.
The military said no sirens were activated in accordance with protocol.
❌ HEZBOLLAH TUNNEL DESTROYED IN SOUTHERN LEBANON: The IDF said troops destroyed a 30-meter Hezbollah tunnel in the Labbouneh area inside the Israeli-held security zone in southern Lebanon.
Forces also captured a cache of weapons at a Hezbollah command center.
The military additionally released footage of an FPV drone strike targeting a Hezbollah operative attempting to flee on a motorcycle.
🛡️ IDF EXPANDS RESPONSE TO HEZBOLLAH FPV DRONE THREAT: Ground Forces commander Maj. Gen. Nadav Lotan appointed a senior officer to lead efforts to develop solutions against the FPV drone threat facing troops in southern Lebanon.
The officer, a brigadier general and pilot who heads the Ground Forces' Strike Division, is overseeing multiple teams focused on countering fiber-optic guided FPV drones, which are resistant to electronic jamming and difficult to detect.
The IDF has deployed passive defenses, including protective netting above troops, vehicles, and outposts. According to the military, the measures have proven effective when operational discipline is maintained.
Mobile radar systems adapted to identify low-flying drones at varying ranges have also been deployed, allowing forces to receive alerts and attempt interceptions.
The military is testing additional countermeasures, including shotguns, dispersal ammunition, automated turrets, and other technological solutions in coordination with international partners.
