🚀 HEZBOLLAH ROCKET IMPACT IN NAHARIYA: IDF search and rescue forces, including reserve and regular troops, are operating at an impact site in northern Israel following reports of a strike in the city of Nahariya.
A woman in her 20s was lightly injured by flying stones after the impact, and two others are being treated for acute anxiety, according to Magen David Adom.
🪖 GROUND OPERATIONS EXPAND IN SOUTHERN LEBANON: Over the past week, IDF soldiers of the 98th Division expanded targeted ground operations to additional targets in southern Lebanon, alongside the ongoing activities of the 91st, 36th, and 146th Divisions.
At this stage, the forces have completed their deployment along the anti-tank missile defense line and continue operating in the area to strengthen the forward defensive posture and remove threats to the residents and communities of northern Israel.
❌ IDF STRIKES FIRE-CONTROL HEADQUARTERS AND ELIMINATES KEY COMMANDER: The Israeli Air Force, acting on IDF intelligence, struck the main headquarters responsible for managing the firepower of the “Imam Hussein” Division and eliminated the organization’s head of artillery, the terrorist Kamil Melhem, along with additional terrorists, including aides to Division Commander Yahya Hussein.
In his role, Melhem directed and oversaw artillery launch attacks toward the State of Israel and IDF troops, and served as a central knowledge authority and one of the division’s key commanders.
Melhem also took part in weapons procurement and served in an additional capacity in the chief of staff office for the division commander.
The “Imam Hussein” Division serves as a military force used by the Quds Force to strengthen the so-called “Axis of Resistance” and to execute terrorist attacks against IDF soldiers and Israeli civilians, and its elimination of key personnel severely degrades the division.
ℹ️ MARITIME INCIDENT CLAIMS UNDER REVIEW: The IDF is investigating the possibility that Hezbollah targeted a foreign vessel off the Lebanese coast yesterday.
Hezbollah claimed on Sunday that it hit an Israeli Navy vessel with a cruise missile 68 nautical miles off the Lebanese coast after tracking the target for hours.
The IDF rejects that claim.
The military says the report is false and that no Israeli vessel was hit or threatened at any stage.
A military source says it is possible Hezbollah fired at a foreign vessel that was not hit.
The matter remains under review.
Separate conflicting reports emerged regarding a British warship.
Israeli Channel 14 reported that Hezbollah may have struck and damaged the ship after mistaking it for an Israeli vessel, while British defense officials denied that any British warship was hit or damaged.
