ā GROUND OPERATIONS IN SOUTHERN LEBANON: Golani Brigade troops, operating under the 36th Division, are continuing targeted ground operations to strengthen Israelās forward defense posture in southern Lebanon.
During a targeted operation last week, troops identified armed terrorists in several locations and eliminated eight terrorists in close-quarters encounters, with support from the brigadeās fire control center. Among those eliminated was a terrorist from the Radwan Force sniper array.
During the continued activity, troops located and dismantled an underground shaft leading to the area from which the terrorists had emerged. Dozens of weapons were found inside, including anti-tank rockets, Kalashnikov rifles, machine guns, and grenades.
š„ STRIKES ON HEZBOLLAH FUEL INFRASTRUCTURE: The IDF completed another wave of strikes over the past day targeting fuel stations belonging to Al-Amana, a company controlled by Hezbollah.
The stations were targeted in multiple areas of Lebanon and rendered inoperable. According to the IDF, they are used to refuel trucks transporting weapons and operatives and generate millions of dollars in revenue for Hezbollahās activities.
The IDF said the strikes are part of ongoing efforts to disrupt Hezbollahās economic infrastructure, including assets tied to the Al-Qard al-Hasan association in Beirut.
The Israeli Air Force carried out the strikes. Al-Amana has been under US sanctions since February 2020.
