🛩️ Netanyahu’s expected Washington visit postponed: Funeral services for Senator Lindsey Graham are now expected to take place toward the end of the month. The Prime Minister’s Office consequently said Netanyahu is no longer expected to travel to Washington next week.

⚖️ UK developing comprehensive restrictions on settlement-related trade: Trade Minister Chris Bryant told Parliament that the government is preparing a plan to prohibit imports, exports and service transactions involving communities Britain considers illegal Israeli settlements, according to The Jerusalem Post.

The proposed restrictions would extend beyond physical goods to mortgages, financing, legal services and accountancy connected to settlement construction. Bryant said the Trade Department and Foreign Office have worked on the proposal for months, while acknowledging enforcement difficulties and possible tariff circumvention. The government intends to rely on existing sanctions frameworks rather than pursue lengthy primary legislation.

🏗️ Construction begins on the IDF Military Colleges campus in Jerusalem: The Defense Ministry and IDF have begun implementing the Shoham 4 initiative, including infrastructure development, site preparation and construction of facilities for training future commanders.

The project is being coordinated with the Jerusalem Municipality and Jerusalem Development Authority as part of a wider strategy to relocate major defense infrastructure to the capital. Defense Minister Katz said the campus would connect commanders with Zionism, heritage and responsibility for Israel’s defense, while Mayor Moshe Lion said it would bring thousands of service members and career personnel to Jerusalem. Baram said the project had progressed from a vision to a defined work plan and was proceeding according to schedule.

🚚 Syria intercepts advanced weapons reportedly destined for Hezbollah: Syrian forces seized missiles and other advanced weapons being smuggled across the Syrian-Iraqi border. Syrian state media, citing an Interior Ministry source, reported that the shipment was intended for Hezbollah in Lebanon.
