♟️ U.S.–ISRAEL DISCUSS POTENTIAL SPECIAL FORCES OPERATIONS INSIDE IRAN TO SECURE NUCLEAR STOCKPILES AND TARGET KHARG OIL TERMINAL AS TRUMP SIGNALS GROUND OPTION
♟️ U.S. and Israeli ground operation options reportedly discussed: President Trump said: “I refuse to disclose the conditions under which we would send ground forces into Iran. Ground intervention in Iran is an option only if there are very compelling reasons”.
He added: “If we decide to intervene on the ground, the enemy will have suffered such destruction that they will no longer be able to fight on land”.
President Trump also said: “I can't confirm the shape of the Iran map after the end of the operations, and it's likely that it won't stay as it is”.
Axios reported that the United States and Israel have discussed sending special forces into Iran to secure its stockpile of highly enriched uranium at a later stage of the war. An Israeli defense official said President Trump and his team are seriously considering sending special operations units into Iran for specific missions.
The U.S. Central Command and Israel have also developed a plan for targeted ground operations inside Iran. The U.S. Army's special missions unit, Delta Force, is prepared for operations to secure or eliminate weapons of mass destruction.
Axios also reported discussion of seizing Kharg Island, a strategic terminal responsible for roughly 90% of Iran's crude oil exports.
🗣️ Disputed claims over school strike and captured U.S. soldiers: Iranian media reported last week that a girls' elementary school in Hormozgan Province was struck by U.S.-Israeli strikes earlier that day, killing at least 40 students and injuring 48 others.

Ali Larijani, Secretary of the Iranian Supreme National Security Council, said: “They intended to incite ethnic groups against the government and held talks with the Kurds. Kurds are an authentic Iranian people, and they know what happened to Kurds in Syria and how they were abandoned”.
He also said: “I heard that several American soldiers have been captured in one of the neighboring countries”.
A CENTCOM spokesperson speaking to Al Jazeera denied Larijani’s claim that several U.S. soldiers were captured in a neighboring country.
🇺🇸 War costs and additional remarks by President Trump: Pentagon officials told Congress that the first week of the war with Iran cost about $6 billion, according to The New York Times.
President Trump said: “We don't want to make the war any more complex than it already is. We don't want to see the Kurds get hurt or killed. We have had a good relationship with them. They are willing to go in, but I have told them I don't want them to go in”.
President Trump also said: “The Iranians have been subjected to destruction and at some point, there will be no one left of them to declare surrender”.
