⚠️ U.S. WARNS IRAN AS ISRAEL SETS CONDITIONS FOR LEBANON SECURITY FRAMEWORK
⚠️ U.S. warns Iran over the Strait of Hormuz: U.S. Ambassador to the UN Mike Waltz warned that American military action will continue if necessary.
"Our actions will continue as needed to destroy infrastructure used by Iran to control Hormuz. Iran is mistaken if it thinks Trump will stand idly by while they attack shipping and our bases. Either Iran chooses to be a responsible state, or it continues to follow a path that will lead it to ruin."
Flight tracking data showed a major surge in U.S. military logistics across the Middle East between June 18 and 25, with heavy cargo, fresh interceptors, and ordnance moved across the region before recent operations.
⚓ Iran claims attacks on U.S. military facilities: Iran claimed that yesterday's attacks against U.S. interests in Kuwait and Bahrain struck eight objectives, including strategic shelters, a marine control and data processing center, watchtowers, and radar and communications systems at Al-Salem Base and the U.S. Fifth Fleet.
Iranian state media claimed U.S. strikes hit only previously damaged targets and failed to locate active missile storage facilities and marine control systems.
An Iranian military expert quoted by Fars News repeated the claim that eight points linked to U.S. forces were targeted and destroyed. There is currently no independent confirmation.
🔸 Details emerge on Israel-Lebanon security framework: Israeli media report that under the new framework agreement, Israel will approve the establishment of two initial experimental security zones before any further withdrawals.
According to Channel 15, the Lebanese Armed Forces must dismantle Hezbollah infrastructure in those areas. Israel would then independently verify the results before approving additional withdrawals.
Israeli officials say the mechanism is intended to prevent a repeat of previous ceasefire violations, when officials reportedly told Israel that Hezbollah infrastructure had been dismantled while it remained in place. Under the framework, Israel would retain control over the pace of withdrawal and could re-enter previously evacuated areas without violating the agreement.
Yediot Ahronoth quoted officials as saying: "If the Lebanese army does not succeed in dismantling Hezbollah in the two experimental field areas, we will not proceed with the establishment of additional areas."
Channel 14 added: "There is no timetable for withdrawal in the agreement, and there is nothing that obligates Israel to it. It's actually a very good agreement, but Hezbollah has lost its temper over it."
