🧭 Israeli defense officials are treating the coming period as a critical stage in the Iran confrontation: A senior Israeli official told i24 News that this week could determine whether direct fighting resumes and said the United States is expected to intensify its actions.
Reporting differed regarding the immediate threat to Israel. Army Radio said attacks were not currently expected, while Channel 14 reported indications that renewed fighting could include strikes on Israel. Channel 13 said Israel had confirmed American preparations to expand the campaign.
The U.S. State Department issued a global security warning urging Americans to exercise increased caution because of Middle East tensions. It also warned of possible further escalation and issued a separate travel warning for Israel.
⚡ U.S. strikes damaged Iranian civilian and transportation infrastructure: Overnight attacks targeted electrical systems and water-desalination pumps in Bonjeh and Jask, disrupting drinking-water supplies to nearby villages.
Two bridges on the Bandar Abbas-Rudan road were damaged, and the central Iranian city of Yazd was also targeted.
Iran’s Health Ministry said 50 people had been killed and 500 wounded in American attacks during the previous three weeks. The Hormozgan Province Telecommunications Authority said 116 communication towers were disabled in a strike targeting internet lines.
🚀 Iran retaliated against American and regional facilities across the Middle East: A U.S. official said Iran fired a ballistic missile at an American base in Saudi Arabia, its first direct attack on the kingdom in nearly four months.
Iran also attacked at least two bases in Jordan. Several American service members were injured, and footage showed ballistic missiles striking Muwaffaq Salti Air Base, where impacts and smoke were reported.
Kuwait faced repeated missile and drone attacks that caused fires and damage at an electrical power station, a second desalination facility and vital oil-sector sites. Kuwait Petroleum Corporation reported injuries and significant material damage, while the Saad Academy for Security Sciences was also reportedly targeted.
Two additional fires broke out in southern Kuwait, with smoke visible from several locations. Qatar’s Foreign Ministry said targeting Kuwaiti electricity and desalination facilities “crosses all red lines.”
Sirens also sounded in Bahrain, while Iranian ballistic missiles and drones targeted Erbil, the capital of Iraq’s Kurdistan Region.
