⚠️ U.S.-IRAN NEGOTIATIONS REMAIN DEADLOCKED AS WASHINGTON AND JERUSALEM PREPARE FOR POSSIBLE RENEWED MILITARY ACTION
🌍 U.S.-Iran negotiations remain stalled despite continued mediation efforts by regional actors. Pakistani and Iranian sources told Reuters and Tasnim that major disagreements remain unresolved, particularly regarding Iran’s refusal to connect an end to the war with nuclear concessions. Tehran also continues demanding the release of frozen assets and compensation for war-related damage.
❗️ The White House reportedly rejected Iran’s revised proposal to end the conflict, describing it as insufficient. According to Axios and Western sources, the proposal included only a vague pledge not to pursue nuclear weapons while avoiding commitments on uranium enrichment or the Strait of Hormuz. American officials warned that military operations could resume if Tehran refuses broader nuclear concessions.
🇺🇸 President Trump significantly intensified public pressure on Iran, warning that “TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE.” U.S. officials told Al Jazeera that Tehran now has “days, not weeks” to resolve the deadlock. Trump also told the New York Post that he is “not willing to give up anything to Iran,” adding that the Iranian leadership understands “what’s about to happen soon.”
🎯 Senior American political and military figures also signaled growing support for renewed military action. Gen. Jack Keane said the United States is approaching another round of operations against Iran and argued a diplomatic agreement appears increasingly unlikely. Senator Lindsey Graham stated that Iran has become “more emboldened and aggressive” despite suffering military and economic setbacks.
🤝 Trump announced that the United States paused a planned military strike on Iran that he said had been scheduled for tomorrow. According to Trump, the decision followed direct appeals from Qatar’s Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed, who argued negotiations still offer a path toward an agreement preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.
⚔️ Despite delaying the strike, Trump emphasized that the military option remains active. He said Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Joint Chiefs Chairman General Daniel Caine, and U.S. forces were instructed to remain prepared for a “full, large scale assault” on short notice should negotiations collapse.
🛡️ Israeli and American officials are reportedly preparing for the possibility of renewed fighting. Sources cited by Israel Hayom and Israeli media said Israel has completed preparations for another multi-day campaign that could include targets previously avoided by Washington. An Israeli official stated that renewed U.S. authorization for military action would likely lead to coordinated joint strikes.
🚨 Regional alert levels also remain elevated. Israeli Channel 12 reported that dozens of American refueling aircraft stationed at Ben Gurion Airport are expected to remain in Israel through at least the end of the year. Israeli officials reportedly warned that the airport has effectively become a military installation due to ongoing operational activity.
⚠️ Iranian officials continued issuing public threats toward the United States. Defense Ministry spokesman Reza Talaei-Nik claimed that “America’s prestige has collapsed” and warned Tehran would respond “more harshly” to any future attack, while asserting that significant Iranian military capabilities have not yet been used.
🔹 U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson stated that “Operation ‘Epic Fury’ has ended,” adding that efforts are now focused on reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
