🔸 IRAN DESCRIBES TWO-STAGE NEGOTIATION FRAMEWORK: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqhchi said negotiations were divided into two stages due to difficulties in reaching an understanding and because of "the attacks by the US and the Israeli regime against Iran."
According to Araqhchi, the first stage addressed ending the war, the Strait of Hormuz, the release of Iran's blocked funds, and reconstruction.
He said negotiations would then continue for 60 days to seek a final agreement addressing the nuclear issue and sanctions relief.
⚓ IRAN CLAIMS U.S. NAVAL BLOCKADE IS ENDING: Iran's Foreign Ministry stated that the United States has begun easing its naval blockade of Iranian ports.
Fars News Agency reported that several Iranian vessels transited the blockade zone without incident and said the blockade has effectively ended.
IRIB also reported that the U.S. has begun lifting the blockade but said vessels must continue coordinating with the IRGC while passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
According to Iranian sources, between four and six Iranian oil tankers crossed the blockade zone yesterday and departed Iran for their destinations.
💰 REPORT: U.S. APPROVED QATAR-IRAN FINANCIAL ARRANGEMENT: According to Israel Hayom, the United States quietly approved a financial arrangement between Qatar and Iran roughly a month ago.
The reported arrangement allowed Doha to transfer funds to Tehran in exchange for guarantees on freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz and protection of Qatari vessels from attack.
The report said the arrangement was intended to stabilize global energy markets, lower oil prices, and pave the way for a broader U.S.-Iran memorandum of understanding.
Under the deal, Iran was granted access to funds held in Qatar, including payments described as tanker transit fees and a credit line worth up to $1 billion for the purchase of goods.
⚠️ TRUMP WARNS IRAN OVER NUCLEAR PROGRAM: President Trump declared: "Iran has agreed to never have a nuclear weapon! Also, the story that the U.S. is paying Iran $300 million is fake news, put out by the dumocrats".
Trump added: "All hell will rain down on them."
He further warned: "If they do, they suffer unbelievable consequences... the ultimate consequences," while stating Iran would not be permitted to develop, buy, or acquire a nuclear weapon if it seeks to maintain a "very good relationship" with the United States.
🛰️ INTELLIGENCE REPORTS RAISE QUESTIONS ABOUT IRANIAN COMPLIANCE: Axios reported that American intelligence and the CIA listened to phone calls of senior Iranian officials and concluded Iran may not intend to comply with its nuclear commitments even if a final agreement is signed.
According to Axios, CIA Director John Ratcliffe warned President Trump that U.S. intelligence assessments suggest Iran may be unwilling to make the nuclear concessions required for a final agreement.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth reportedly shared similar concerns, while Vice President JD Vance and U.S. envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner supported the deal.
Axios reported that intelligence reviewed by senior U.S. officials indicated some Iranian officials were discussing the deal internally in ways that appeared inconsistent with messages being conveyed to mediators and U.S. negotiators.
