⚓ U.S. BLOCKADE REMAINS IN FULL EFFECT: As of July 25, U.S. Central Command had redirected 12 commercial vessels attempting to run the naval blockade against Iran, disabled two that did not comply and boarded two to ensure total compliance.
Earlier today, U.S. forces completed a verification boarding aboard the Comoros-flagged M/T Charminar in the Arabian Sea. The tanker is now continuing its journey.
CENTCOM forces disabled the Mozambique-flagged M/T Lavine in the Gulf of Oman on July 24 after its crew attempted to violate the blockade multiple times and ignored repeated warnings. The ship is no longer transiting to Iran.
American forces remain highly vigilant, focused, lethal and ready. An MH-60R Sea Hawk was also reported delivering supplies to the guided-missile destroyer USS Mason in the Arabian Sea.
🔸 IRAN PAUSES RETALIATORY STRIKES: U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz said: "President Trump is giving an opportunity for a diplomatic path with Iran".
A senior Iranian official told Reuters: "We will cease fire, as long as the United States does the same."
The Iranian Army announced that Tehran had suspended its retaliatory strikes after the United States paused its bombing campaign for a second consecutive night. The announcement followed roughly 13 consecutive nights of American airstrikes.
💥 TANKER REPORTEDLY HITS NAVAL MINE: Iran’s Tasnim News Agency reported: "An oil tanker that had deviated from the route designated by Iran in the Strait of Hormuz exploded after colliding with a naval mine".
⚓ IRAN REJECTS PROPOSED HORMUZ CORRIDOR: Saudi media reported that Iran informed Pakistan it would not accept the establishment of a new corridor in the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran is reportedly demanding the resumption of negotiations first on the Hormuz issue, followed by the issue of frozen funds and then the nuclear issue.
⚠️ IRAN WARNS UKRAINE OVER CASPIAN STRIKES: Iranian First Deputy Parliament Speaker Ali Nikzad said that 'the reckless actions of the Ukrainian government will not go unanswered'.
He declared that any launch site used to carry out attacks against Iran would be considered a legitimate target. His statement followed Kyiv’s confirmation of long-range drone strikes on vessels in the Caspian Sea that killed one sailor and wounded another.
🇮🇱 BAHRAIN’S KING SPEAKS WITH PRESIDENT HERZOG: For the first time since October 7, 2023, Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa publicly announced that he had held a conversation with Israeli President Isaac Herzog.
Bahraini media reported that the two leaders discussed the latest developments in the region.
🔸 SYRIA SEEKS SECURITY AGREEMENT WITH ISRAEL: Responding to President Trump’s statements that Syria might deal with Hezbollah, Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa said: "We have no intention of carrying out any military intervention in Lebanon. We support the Lebanese state's monopoly on weapons and its decision-making power regarding peace and war".
Al-Sharaa also said: "We are avoiding a clash with Israel, and it is not in our interest to have one. We are working to reach a security agreement with Israel, with the participation of a group of countries. If the security agreement with Israel succeeds, it will pave the way for a comprehensive peace without relinquishing Syria's right to the occupied Golan Heights".
