⚔ U.S. prepares military buildup for: possible Strait of Hormuz operation

The United States is building up forces for a possible operation in the Strait of Hormuz that is expected to last around two weeks. U.S. and Arab forces are expected to contribute troops, while Israel will provide intelligence support. Options under consideration reportedly include securing the strait or conducting limited operations inside Iran, including on Kharg Island or against nuclear sites.

🎯 Israeli Air Force strikes Iranian Navy targets in the Caspian Sea: Israeli Channel 14 reported that the Israeli Air Force carried out strikes on Iranian Navy missile boats in the Caspian Sea. An Israeli official told Axios: "Israel conducted strikes against Iranian Navy missile boats in the Caspian sea. More than five vessels were targeted". Israeli military sources told Channel 14 that six Iranian warships were destroyed.

‼️ Arab and Islamic states convene in Saudi Arabia and condemn Iran: Foreign ministers and representatives from Arab and Islamic countries met in Saudi Arabia to discuss regional stability in light of the war with Iran. Participants condemned Iranian attacks, held Iran fully responsible for losses, called on Iran to immediately and unconditionally cease its aggression, and warned that continued attacks would affect Iran’s relations with countries in the region.

🔥 Drone crash at Saudi refinery and missile strike on Qatar energy facility: Saudi Arabia reported that a drone crashed at the SAMREF refinery in Yanbu, with damage still under assessment. SAMREF is jointly owned by Saudi Aramco and ExxonMobil and processes approximately 400,000 barrels per day. An Iranian missile also hit the Ras Laffan refinery in Qatar, causing a massive fire and extensive damage. Qatar’s Foreign Ministry said: "Qatar reserves the right to respond [to the Iranian attack] in accordance with international law". Qatar has declared the military and security attachés of the Iranian Embassy in Doha persona non grata and ordered them to leave the country within 24 hours.

⚠️ Saudi foreign minister signals readiness for broader response to Iran: Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud: "A political response to Iran is available, as well as non-political responses. I doubt that Iran has the wisdom to understand our message and stop its attacks on neighboring countries".
