⚖️ TURKEY SEEKS INTERPOL NOTICES FOR NETANYAHU AND ISRAELI OFFICIAL
Turkey’s Justice Ministry formally requested Interpol Red Notices for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israeli official Afek Moskovitch over alleged crimes against Global Sumud Flotilla activists, including allegations of genocide and crimes against humanity.
The Prime Minister’s Office responded with a sweeping condemnation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, accusing him of harboring Hamas terrorists, repressing opponents and journalists, occupying part of Cyprus and seeking to expand Turkish pressure on Israel into Syria. It said attempts to intimidate Israeli leaders and soldiers would fail.
📍 JUDEA AND SAMARIA: ROCK-THROWING INCIDENT NEAR SA’IR UNDER INVESTIGATION
IDF troops were dispatched to the Sa’ir area after Palestinians reportedly threw rocks at Israeli civilians who had entered without prior authorization, leaving Israelis injured. A security official opened fire, resulting in Palestinian casualties.
A separate report concerned a structure under construction being set on fire. Firefighters extinguished the blaze, while troops dispersed the confrontation and removed the Israeli civilians. The IDF stressed that entering such areas without coordination endangers civilians and diverts forces from defensive and counterterrorism missions. Judea and Samaria District Police and the IDF are collecting evidence and testimonies.
🏛️ ISRAELI POLITICS: PALESTINIAN STATEHOOD BECOMES A SHARP COALITION DIVIDE
After Ra’am leader Mansour Abbas said he would ensure the establishment of a Palestinian state, Gadi Eisenkot responded that no Palestinian state would be established during his term.
National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir portrayed Abbas’ remarks as evidence of what a future coalition involving Ra’am would pursue, while Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that as long as he remains prime minister, there would be no Palestinian state controlled by Iran in Gaza or Judea and Samaria. Netanyahu also used the remarks to attack prospective political cooperation between opposition parties and Arab factions.
✈️ BEN GURION AIRPORT: UNION WARNS STAFFING SHORTAGE COULD DISRUPT HOLIDAY TRAVEL
The Israel Airports Authority workers’ union says 400–500 additional employees are needed across the authority and warns that unresolved shortages could again disrupt Ben Gurion Airport during the holiday travel period. The union attributes the problem largely to management and recruitment difficulties that it says have been raised for months.
More than 100 employees are serving in the reserves, while dozens more are absent because of long-term illness, injuries or workplace accidents. Service and operations personnel are reportedly working 220–260 hours per month, with staffing gaps affecting airport operations, firefighting, security, transportation and baggage sorting.
The warning follows recent labor disruptions that produced widespread delays and political criticism. Union chairman Pinchas Idan is expected to approach the labor court as the holiday period nears, while the union is calling for immediate measures to prevent further deterioration in passenger service.
