‼️ TRUMP WARNS OF MILITARY CONSEQUENCES AS IRAN REFUSES URANIUM EXPORTS, IDF MAINTAINS HIGHEST ALERT LEVEL
🛡️ IDF ALERT STATUS DURING SHAVUOT: Against the backdrop of the possibility of renewed war with Iran, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir said ahead of the Shavuot holiday: “Even during the holiday, the IDF remains on the highest level of alert.”
The Chief of Staff and his wife also visited wounded soldiers ahead of the holiday. Zamir told the soldiers and their families: “The strength and resilience that you and your families are demonstrating throughout the recovery and rehabilitation process from these complex combat injuries are an inspiration to the entire people of Israel. Even during Shavuot, the IDF remains on the highest level of alert.”
🔸 IRAN NUCLEAR TALKS / URANIUM DISPUTE UPDATE: Iran is drawing a hard line in nuclear talks, insisting its enriched uranium must remain inside the country. The demand is creating new friction in negotiations with the U.S. as President Trump signals the ceasefire could end if Tehran refuses a deal.
Reuters reported Thursday, citing two senior Iranian sources, that Iran’s “supreme” leader Mojtaba Khamenei signed an order completely banning the export of enriched uranium from the country. The report said the move comes amid threats by President Trump to resume hostilities if Tehran does not back down, further complicating secret peace talks reportedly being brokered by Pakistan.
The White House later denied the report on Fox News and said a final decision regarding uranium exports from Iran has not been made.
🔸 TRUMP / SANCTIONS POSITION: President Trump denied reports from Iran claiming oil sanctions relief was being offered as part of negotiations with Tehran.
“I haven’t heard anything like that. Until they sign an agreement, I’m not lifting any sanctions.”
Trump added that after an agreement is signed, it would be possible to “rebuild” Iran and create conditions that would benefit the Iranian people, but emphasized: “We have not offered anything.”
⚠️ WHITE HOUSE WARNING TO IRAN: Stephen Miller, White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy and Homeland Security Advisor, said: “Iran has a choice to make: they can either agree to a piece of paper that is satisfactory to the U.S., or they can face a punishment from our military the likes of which has not been seen in modern history. That’s the choice they face.”
🔱 CENTCOM IRAN PORT BLOCKADE ENFORCEMENT: U.S. Central Command stated that as of May 21, CENTCOM forces have redirected 94 commercial vessels and disabled four while enforcing the blockade aimed at preventing the flow of commerce into and out of Iranian ports.
