🎙️ TRUMP PUSHES BACK ON CLAIMS IRAN REFUSES TO YIELD: During an exchange with reporters, President Trump rejected the characterization that Iran is refusing to submit.
Reporter: “You are facing an opponent in Iran that has refused to submit.”
Trump: “Why do you say they refuse to submit? You don’t know what's going on.”
After a reporter referenced recent Iranian fire at U.S. ships, Trump responded: “A few days ago is a long time ago in the world of war. They want to make a deal badly.”
‼️ IRANIAN OIL PRODUCTION CUTS UNDER BLOCKADE PRESSURE: An Iranian Oil Ministry source told the NYT that Iran has initiated production cuts at select oil wells due to storage shortages caused by the naval blockade.
According to the source, Iran’s available land and sea storage capacity could be exhausted within 40-45 days. Officials are reportedly concerned that prolonged shutdowns could lead to slow and costly restarts, or permanent closures of older and less profitable wells.
⚠️ SUSPECTED INFILTRATION ALERT IN METZAD: A Home Front Command alert was activated in the Judea and Samaria community of Metzad in the Etzion Brigade after a vehicle was identified entering the community. IDF forces searched the area and deployed additional troops.
The IDF said it remained in continuous contact with residents and local security personnel throughout the incident. The vehicle was later identified as belonging to an Israeli civilian using an improvised hand-drawn license plate after the original plate had fallen off.
The military issued an all-clear after determining there was no security-related infiltration incident. The IDF said the concern over a possible security incident has been eliminated.
