⚠️ TRUMP REJECTS IRANIAN CLAIMS ON CEASEFIRE TERMS AS NETANYAHU REAFFIRMS STRIKES POLICY
⚠️ PRESIDENT TRUMP REJECTS IRANIAN CLAIMS ON CEASEFIRE TERMS: President Trump stated: "The terms that Iran leaked out to the Fake News have NOTHING to do with the terms that were agreed to, in writing. What they said, including their weak and pathetic statement on having a deal, bears no relation to the truth. Very dishonorable people to deal with. With them, there is no such thing as dealing in good faith. AMAZING!"
Trump also condemned what he described as an attempted Iranian drone attack against Indian ships leaving the Strait of Hormuz, saying: "their totally rebuffed Drone attack last night against Indian Ships leaving the Hormuz Strait is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. They better get their act together, and FAST!"
🔸 IRAN DENIES FINAL AGREEMENT HAS BEEN REACHED: A source close to the Iranian negotiating team told Fars News Agency: "Claims that a final deal has been reached and will be signed in Geneva on Sunday are completely false. Iran's review and decision-making process is still ongoing".
According to reports so far, the proposed arrangement appears to involve a sixty-day ceasefire under previously published conditions. Reports indicate the mutual blockade of the Strait of Hormuz would be lifted, while the issue of frozen Iranian assets remains a central dispute.
CNN reported that Israel is pressing the United States to prevent the unfreezing of Iranian funds as part of any potential ceasefire agreement.
🇮🇱 NETANYAHU REAFFIRMS ISRAELI RED LINES ON IRAN: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated: "As long as I am the Prime Minister of Israel — Iran will not have a nuclear weapon. There is full agreement between me and President Trump on this issue."
Netanyahu added: "For over 30 years I have been at the forefront of the international struggle against Iran’s nuclear program. If not for this struggle, Iran would long ago have had atomic bombs to destroy Israel. Iran is working to annihilate the Jewish state, and I have devoted my life to preventing them from doing so. As long as I am the Prime Minister of Israel, this will not happen."
🗣️ NETANYAHU DESCRIBES DISPUTE WITH WASHINGTON OVER RESPONSE POLICY: According to Yedioth Ahronoth, Netanyahu said President Trump pressured him to limit Israel's response following an Iranian missile attack.
Netanyahu said Trump asked him: "Did they kill any of your people?" Netanyahu said he replied that he was not willing to accept a situation in which Israel responds only when casualties occur, adding that any attack on Israeli territory would be met with retaliation.
Addressing ministers, Netanyahu also rejected suggestions that Israel was dependent on Washington, saying: "We are not subordinate to the Americans; we are their allies".
⚓ WASHINGTON POST REVEALS FAILED QATAR-IRAN BACKCHANNEL OVER GAS FACILITY: The Washington Post reported that Qatar sought assurances from Iran at the beginning of the war that the Ras Laffan gas complex would not be targeted.
According to the report, Doha proposed a secret arrangement under which Qatar would temporarily halt gas production in order to increase economic pressure on the United States and Israel to end the conflict more quickly. Qatari officials argued Iran could achieve its objectives without attacking Qatari territory.
Officials said Iran never provided a formal guarantee that the facility would be spared. The report added that the CIA and senior Trump administration officials were aware of the back-channel contacts.
Despite the efforts, Iran later struck the Ras Laffan complex, damaging parts of the facility and disrupting energy operations. The incident reportedly complicated Qatar’s role as a mediator between Washington and Tehran.
