⚠️ TRUMP-NETANYAHU IRAN COORDINATION, U.S.-IRAN AGREEMENT REPORTS, AND IDF HIGH ALERT ACROSS MULTIPLE FRONTS
🌍 TRUMP / NETANYAHU / IRAN COORDINATION: President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu held what was described as a “lengthy and dramatic” overnight phone call focused on Iran and broader regional developments. Trump stated that he and Netanyahu are aligned regarding Iran and called for the immediate reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, while saying the U.S. is still “giving Iran a chance.”
🧭 U.S. DECISION-MAKING / ISRAELI CONCERNS: Trump stated he is “in no hurry” regarding Iran and dismissed political pressure tied to the U.S. midterm elections. Israeli security officials expressed surprise over Trump’s public comments suggesting the U.S. had recently been close to launching strikes on Iran, saying they expected any such operation to be tightly coordinated with Israel. Officials also assessed that renewed American military action would likely draw Israel into direct confrontation, while doubting such a conflict would lead to regime collapse in Tehran.
📃 U.S.-IRAN AGREEMENT REPORTS / PAKISTAN ROLE: Regional reports indicated intensified diplomatic activity surrounding a possible U.S.-Iran agreement. Pakistan’s Interior Minister met in Tehran with the commander of the IRGC, while Al Arabiya reported that work is underway to finalize the agreement text and that an announcement could come within hours. Reports further claimed Pakistan’s army chief may travel to Tehran to present the final version, with additional negotiations expected in Islamabad after the Hajj season. Saudi media similarly reported that an agreement is nearing completion.
☢️ IRANIAN POSITION ON NUCLEAR MATERIALS: Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei stated that although the United States has presented multiple demands, Tehran questions why it should transfer its nuclear materials to another country. The remarks reflected continued Iranian resistance on core nuclear issues despite reports of diplomatic progress.
🚢 IRGC THREATS / STRAIT OF HORMUZ: The IRGC warned that any joint U.S.-Israeli attack on Iran would expand beyond the Middle East. IRGC commander-in-chief Ahmad Vahidi stated that renewed strikes on Iranian territory would trigger a response that “will not remain confined to a regional war.” At the same time, U.S. Central Command reported redirecting 90 ships and disabling four vessels to enforce compliance in the Strait of Hormuz area. Iranian television separately reported that five large oil tankers transited the Strait after coordinating with the IRGC.
🚨 IDF ALERT LEVEL / EYAL ZAMIR: IDF Chief of Staff LTG Eyal Zamir conducted an operational situational assessment with division commanders covering all sectors, force readiness, and continuation of combat operations. Zamir stated that the IDF is currently operating at its highest level of alert and remains prepared for any development. He said the military continues strengthening Forward Defense Areas along border sectors while sustaining operations in both nearby and distant arenas following the systematic weakening of Iran and its regional axis.
🇫🇷 FRENCH NAVAL DEPLOYMENT: France’s Ministry of the Armed Forces announced that the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle arrived in the operations zone near the Arabian Peninsula, adding another major Western naval presence to the region.
