❌ OVER 30 DETAINED IN EXTENSIVE TERROR NETWORK PLANNING ATTACKS: The Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet), IDF and Israel Police announced that more than 30 Palestinians were recently detained over alleged membership in what authorities described as a “significant and extensive” terror network operating in Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria.
According to the Shin Bet, the network recruited armed cells and planned attacks against Jews and Israeli security forces. Weapons allegedly intended for attacks were seized during the investigation.
Five Jerusalem residents, Sabih Abu Sabih, Rashid Rishk, Muhammad Abu Sabih, Muhammad Azmi Bakri and Ahmad Azmi Bakri, were charged with serious security offenses including managing or participating in a terror organization, conspiracy and preparations to commit terrorist murder, weapons and terror-related property offenses, and recruiting or attempting to recruit members. Military prosecutors are expected to indict some suspects from Judea and Samaria in the coming days, while investigations into others remain ongoing.
The Shin Bet said Abu Sabih and Rishk, members of the Hamas-affiliated Shabab al-Aqsa group, established the network and recruited terror cells under their command throughout Judea and Samaria. Abu Sabih is the son of Mesbah Abu Sabih, who killed two Israelis in a Jerusalem shooting attack in October 2016. Rishk was released in January 2025 as part of a hostage deal with Hamas.
According to the investigation, Rishk and Ahmad Azmi Bakri planned an attack at a restaurant in Modi’in where Bakri worked. The Shin Bet also said Muhammad Azmi Bakri instructed Rishk and Muhammad Abu Sabih on constructing explosive devices after they told him they intended to carry out attacks, including a shooting targeting Israeli security forces in al-Eizariya.
⚓ IRGC CLAIMS CAPTURE OF U.S. UNMANNED UNDERWATER VEHICLE: The IRGC Navy said it captured a U.S. unmanned underwater vehicle near the entrance to the Strait of Hormuz early this morning.
According to the statement, the vehicle was “one of the most modern intelligent unmanned submarines” delivered to the U.S. Navy in 2025 and was seized during a “complex intelligence and operational” operation. The IRGC said images of the captured vehicle would be released within hours. There has been no immediate confirmation from the U.S. side.
