⚠️ Iran links Lebanon to broader regional agreements: Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Baqaei stated that the survival of any regional accord is strictly contingent upon "safeguarding Lebanon's national sovereignty" and territorial integrity.
Baqaei equated the termination of Israeli military operations in Lebanon with the end of the war against Iranian territory.
Tehran said full implementation of the first clause of the June 18, 2026 memorandum of understanding and the April 8 ceasefire agreement remains an "essential prerequisite" for long-term regional stability.

The Gulf Cooperation Council described Iran's attacks as a threat to regional security and stability and reaffirmed support for all measures taken by Bahrain and Kuwait to protect their sovereignty and security.
🔸 Iran and Iraq outline diplomatic framework: The Iranian and Iraqi foreign ministers held a joint press conference in Baghdad following recent Tehran-Washington understandings reached in Switzerland.
Iraq said recent military operations and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz created serious challenges for Iraqi oil exports, reiterated opposition to expanding regional hostilities, and called for maritime restrictions on Iran to be lifted.
Araghchi said Iran expects the Strait of Hormuz to return to its pre-war operating capacity within 30 days under exclusive Iranian management and warned that parallel maritime arrangements could increase tensions following recent clashes.
He also said the reported memorandum calls for a complete cessation of hostilities across all fronts, including Lebanon, asserted that the United States bears responsibility for helping enforce the ceasefire and overseeing withdrawals from occupied areas, and backed an Iraqi proposal for eight-party talks involving the Gulf Cooperation Council, Iran, and Iraq to develop a comprehensive regional security framework free from foreign interference.
