🏛️ Former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett stated that Area C would ultimately become part of Israel while Areas A and B would remain under Palestinian autonomy.
🏗️ Bennett said legal Israeli construction on state land in Area C should be encouraged, while construction outside legal frameworks or on privately owned Palestinian land should not be permitted. He argued that private property rights must be respected regardless of ownership.
⚔️ Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich strongly criticized Bennett's position, claiming it reflected support for the eventual establishment of a Palestinian state. Smotrich argued that a future government involving Bennett and Gadi Eisenkot would advance such a process while dismantling agricultural farms and newer communities.
