🛡️ NETANYAHU RETURNS TO JERUSALEM FOR TRUMP CALL; IRAN THREATENS NEW WAR METHODS AND HOME FRONT GUIDELINES REMAIN IN EFFECT
⚠️ Prime Minister Netanyahu left a Druze community conference in the Dead Sea region and is returning to Jerusalem for a phone call with President Trump, according to Israeli Channel 12.
‼️ An Iranian army spokesperson warned that if Iran is attacked again, “the enemy” would face “new weapons, war methods, and battlefields.” The spokesperson also said Iranian light submarines are operating in the Strait of Hormuz “in line with threats and needs.”
⚠️ President Trump accused Iran of “playing games” with the United States and the international community for 47 years, describing Tehran’s approach as prolonged delays and manipulation during negotiations and regional confrontations. Trump sharply criticized former President Barack Obama’s Iran policy, claiming it strengthened Tehran economically and strategically while weakening traditional U.S. alliances in the region, particularly with Israel.
Trump referenced the transfer of billions of dollars to Iran, including the widely reported $1.7 billion cash settlement delivered during the Obama administration. He also accused Iran of supporting attacks against Americans through regional proxy activity and suppressing domestic protests inside Iran. Trump said Iranian leaders believed the United States had become weak under previous administrations and warned Tehran that it “will be laughing no longer.”
📉 Senior Iran analyst Dror Balazada reported that growing economic pressure is affecting Iran’s oil sector. According to the report, some workers inside Iran’s oil industry are considering leaving the country as the crisis deepens.
Balazada also reported that Iran is using decades-old tankers for oil storage, with some reportedly leaking oil into the sea. The report said Iranian officials fear that stopping pumping operations could damage infrastructure.
