🇮🇱 Netanyahu signals surprises in UN speech: Netanyahu said there would be surprises in his speech at the UN tomorrow.
Israeli security sources told Channel 13: "Netanyahu is leaving Israel tonight and arriving in New York in the morning, and will return tomorrow evening. Netanyahu will not spend a single night in New York for security reasons".
❗️ Ambassador Leiter’s son wounded in ramming attack: Israeli Channel 14 reported that a son of Israel’s ambassador to the U.S., Yechiel Leiter, was wounded in a terrorist car-ramming attack west of Ramallah in Judea and Samaria. He was identified as IDF reservist Neriah Leiter, with reports describing his condition as critical.
The IDF said a reserve soldier was severely injured earlier today in a ramming attack at a checkpoint in the Binyamin Regional Brigade’s area. He was evacuated to a hospital for treatment, and his family was notified.
Another of the ambassador’s sons, Moshe Leiter, was killed fighting Hamas in northern Gaza in November 2023, at the beginning of the war. Ambassador Leiter was briefed and initially monitored the situation remotely. He is now on his way to Israel.

🛡️ 98th Division headquarters to command Judea and Etzion brigades: Following a fresh situational assessment, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir directed the 98th Division headquarters to operate in Judea and Samaria and assume command of the Judea and Etzion regional brigades.
The rare move follows several recent terrorist attacks and heightened security concerns. The two brigades cover the southern portion of Judea and Samaria and normally fall under the Judea and Samaria Division. Transferring their command will alleviate pressure on that division. The 98th Division is not deploying its organic units as part of the move.
"Activating the division headquarters in the area is part of strengthening command and control, in order to enhance defensive and offensive capabilities" in Judea and Samaria, the military said. It added that the decision follows recent terrorist attacks and is intended to "enhance security during this tense period."
The IDF said it continues to conduct situational assessments in accordance with the operational situation.
