๐ก๏ธ NETANYAHU: ISRAEL WILL MAINTAIN SECURITY FREEDOM OF ACTION AGAINST IRAN AND IN LEBANON: Prime Minister Netanyahu delivered a statement tonight without taking questions.
Netanyahu said the agreement with Iran was brokered by President Trump and that "this is his decision, and we have our own interests."
He said Israel will remain in the security buffer zone in Lebanon and is working to preserve its freedom of military action.
Netanyahu said: "We killed Deif, Haniyeh, and many of Hamas's leaders - virtually all of them. I think there is still one left; he too will be killed."
He also declared: "I will participate in the elections and I intend to win them."
Regarding Iran, Netanyahu said the mission of his life is the fight against Iran's nuclear program.
"With an agreement or without one - Iran will not have nuclear weapons."
He said Israel has pushed back what he described as the immediate threat of annihilation and added that Israel caused severe damage to Iran's economy, with some estimates placing the damage at a trillion dollars.
"The struggle is not over and done. We will need to continue to stand guard and defend ourselves as necessary."
Netanyahu said Israel will remain in security zones for as long as necessary to defend the country. He added that Israel will build new alliances inside and outside the region while ensuring its military independence.
Referring to President Trump, Netanyahu said: "He is responsible for America's interests, and I am responsible for Israel's interests."
On reported tensions with Trump, Netanyahu said: "It happens in the best of families."
He added that Israel still does not know what the agreement will be.

President Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf reportedly signed the memorandum electronically.

One senior U.S. official said: "An Israeli withdrawal from southern Lebanon is not a condition for an agreement. If Hezbollah attacks, Israel has the right to self-defense."
President Trump said: "I hope we can also solve the situation in Lebanon, because it's something that never ends."
American officials also said Israel will retain the right to defend itself against future Hezbollah attacks.
