🗳️ KAN POLL PUTS EISENKOT AHEAD AS WINTER SCENARIO WEAKENS NETANYAHU BLOC: A Kan News/Kantar poll conducted under Dudi Hasid gives Gadi Eisenkot’s Yashar! 24 seats and Likud 22, followed by Together with 14, Democrats 10, Otzma Yehudit and Yisrael Beiteinu 9 each, United Torah Judaism 8, Shas 7, the unified Hadash-Ta’al-Balad list 7, Religious Zionism 5 and Ra’am 5.
The resulting blocs are Netanyahu’s bloc 51, the non-Arab opposition 57 and Arab parties 12, leaving neither principal bloc with the 61 seats required for a majority. Compared with Kan’s previous poll, Netanyahu’s bloc falls from 52 to 51 while the non-Arab opposition remains at 57; Likud falls from 23 to 22 and Yashar remains at 24.
In a separate scenario, an Ofer Winter party wins 5 seats but Netanyahu’s bloc falls further to 50. Religious Zionism moves into electoral-threshold danger, Otzma Yehudit weakens and Yisrael Beiteinu gains a seat, raising the non-Arab opposition to 58 while Arab parties remain at 12. The scenario illustrates how additional right-wing parties can divide the same voter pool and potentially push an allied party below the 3.25% threshold. Across recent polling, results continue to vary substantially by pollster, with most non-Channel 14 surveys leaving Netanyahu’s bloc below a governing majority.
