❌ Three terrorists were eliminated in two separate stabbing attacks in Judea and Samaria. At the Derech Avraham outpost near Elon Moreh, two terrorists seriously wounded 51-year-old Itamar Cohen after he arrived to help extinguish a fire reportedly set by Palestinians from Beit Furik.
Another Israeli civilian identified the attack and eliminated both terrorists. Cohen, the owner of the well-known “Itamar’s Farm,” was evacuated by a Unit 669 helicopter while conscious and in significant pain.
The IDF imposed a temporary cordon around Beit Furik and began searches. Police and Fire and Rescue investigators are examining the circumstances surrounding the fire.
In a separate attack near Ganim, close to Jenin, IDF soldiers eliminated a terrorist who attempted to stab forces and continued counterterrorism operations in the area.
🎯 The IDF and Shin Bet eliminated three Hamas terrorists in northern Gaza. Abdallah Jahja, a member of Hamas’ naval force who infiltrated Israel during the October 7th Massacre, had continued advancing maritime attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF troops.
Mohammed Al-Hawari, a cell commander in Hamas’ Zeitoun Battalion, and Sabhi Saqallah, an observation operative in the same battalion, were eliminated alongside him.
📍 Moroccan officers have begun examining possible locations for an international force in Gaza. According to the Israeli Broadcasting Authority, the delegation toured the Strip as part of planning for a potential International Stabilization Force deployment.
🛩️ Israel is reviewing additional capabilities for its maritime and border-defense requirements. The defense establishment is considering acquiring Boeing P-8 Poseidon aircraft to strengthen long-range maritime surveillance and anti-submarine warfare capabilities amid concerns regarding Turkey.
Near the Syrian border, the IDF aborted a Hermes 450 drone strike around two weeks ago after determining that five suspected infiltrators belonged to the Jewish settlement advocacy group “Pioneers of the Bashan.”
The strike was canceled after an observer noticed that members of the group were wearing payot. The organization denied the report and said the IDF had been notified of its presence in advance.
⚖️ Kozo Okamoto, one of the terrorists responsible for the 1972 Lod Airport massacre, has died in Beirut. Okamoto was released from Israeli imprisonment in the 1985 Jibril exchange.
