He said the IDF “will not allow hostile forces to establish themselves along our borders” and must prevent both terror infrastructure and a significant military threat from developing there.
🇺🇸 U.S. OFFICIALS WARN OF ISRAEL-TURKEY CONFRONTATION RISK: Axios reported that the strike frustrated White House and senior U.S. officials despite Israel providing advance notice. U.S. Ambassador to Turkey Tom Barrack said the operation carried “a real risk” of developing into a direct military confrontation involving Israel, Turkey and Syria, noting that Turkish forces might have scrambled aircraft had they believed they were under attack.
