💥 Drone Attack Near Rosh Hanikra: Hezbollah launched an explosive drone attack near Rosh Hanikra along the Lebanon border, striking a parking lot and wounding multiple Israeli civilians. Medical updates from Galilee Medical Center later confirmed one civilian in critical condition, another in moderate condition, and two additional civilians treated in good condition, with one already released.
🛡️ Additional Aerial Threats Across Northern Israel: Hostile aircraft infiltration alerts were activated in multiple northern communities, including Misgav Am, Shlomi, Betzet, and the Mevuot Hermon Regional Council area. The Israeli Air Force and air defense systems intercepted several suspicious aerial targets launched from Lebanon, including toward areas where IDF troops are operating in southern Lebanon. Several interceptions occurred without sirens in accordance with operational protocol.
🎯 Hezbollah Fire Toward IDF Positions: Hezbollah also launched anti-tank missiles, rockets, and mortar shells toward Israeli forces operating in southern Lebanon. The projectiles landed adjacent to troop positions, with no Israeli military casualties reported. Earlier in the day, two attempted surface-to-air missile launches targeted an Israeli Air Force aircraft but caused no damage or injuries.
✈️ Israeli Response Across Southern Lebanon: The IDF described the drone strike as a “blatant violation of the ceasefire understandings” and responded with a broad wave of strikes against Hezbollah infrastructure across southern Lebanon. Over the past 24 hours, the military said more than 65 Hezbollah targets were struck, including weapons depots, surveillance sites, command centers, and additional operational infrastructure. The IDF also stated that more than 20 Hezbollah operatives were eliminated during the operations.
🛰️ Expanded Measures Against FPV Drone Threats: The IDF announced expanded defensive preparations against Hezbollah FPV drone attacks. According to the military, 158,000 square meters of protective mesh netting have already been received, with another 188,000 square meters currently being procured. The netting is being deployed on military vehicles and operational positions.
🌍 Israel-Lebanon Talks Resume: A third round of talks between Israeli and Lebanese representatives also began amid the ongoing exchanges along the northern border.
⚖️ Israeli Legal Action Against The New York Times: Prime Minister Netanyahu and Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar instructed legal action against over allegations accusing Israel of sexual abuse of Palestinians. Israeli officials described the accusations as “one of the most horrifying and distorted lies ever told against the State of Israel.” According to the official statement, the newspaper effectively acknowledged that no fact-checking had been conducted regarding the allegations, including claims that Israel trains dogs to rape Palestinians.
⚔️ Gaza Front Activity: In northern Gaza, IDF troops identified and eliminated a terrorist who crossed the Yellow Line and approached Israeli forces while posing what the military described as an immediate threat.
🚢 Turkish Flotilla Heading Toward Gaza: Israeli Army Radio reported that a flotilla consisting of 58 vessels departed from Turkey toward Gaza. The Israeli Navy is preparing operational measures ahead of the flotilla’s expected approach to the Gaza coastline.
