đĄď¸ ISRAEL RAISES ALERT STATUS AS IRAN THREATS, STRAIT OF HORMUZ PRESSURE, AND UAE-ISRAEL TENSIONS INTENSIFY
âźď¸ Israel signals possible renewed action against Iran: Israelâs Defense Minister said Israel may soon be required to take action in Iran again.
Israeli officials told Axios: âWe will raise the state of maximum alert over the weekend in anticipation of Trumpâs decision to resume the war.â
Officials added: âThe US blockade is pressuring Iran and may force it to surrender without military action.â
đşđ¸ The U.S. Senate once again rejected a Democratic proposal aimed at preventing President Trump from attacking Iran.
đ U.S. and China align on keeping Strait of Hormuz open: U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Washington is trying to convince China to pressure Iran to retreat from its moves in the Strait of Hormuz.
Reuters reported that Rubio and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi discussed the issue in an April phone call.
The White House said President Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping agreed that the Strait of Hormuz must remain open for global energy supplies. According to the statement, Xi opposed militarization of the strait and signaled interest in purchasing more U.S. oil.
The statement also said both sides agreed Iran must not obtain a nuclear weapon.
Rubio later told NBC: âThe Chinese side said they are not in favor of militarizing the Strait of Hormuz or a tolling system, and thatâs our position.â
â˝ Iranian oil exports from Kharg Island remain halted: Bloomberg reported that oil loading from Iranâs Kharg Island has been stopped for four days, with the oil docks completely empty.
Oil exports from the island have reportedly halted for several days for the first time since the start of the war.
đ˘ Iran expands pressure in Strait of Hormuz: A South Korean official told Yonhap News Agency that Seoul rules out any party other than Iran being behind the attack on a South Korean cargo ship near the Strait of Hormuz.
The official said diplomatic action will follow once responsibility is formally confirmed.
Latest reports state Iranâs IRGC seized control of a merchant ship about 38 nautical miles northeast of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates and is sailing it toward Iran.
The IRGC Navy claimed about 30 ships crossed the Strait of Hormuz âwith Tehranâs approvalâ since last night.
â ď¸ UAE publicly denies Netanyahu âsecret visitâ claim: The UAE Foreign Ministry denied reports that Prime Minister Netanyahu secretly visited the country during Operation âRoar of the Lion.â
The denial followed an official statement by Israelâs Prime Ministerâs Office that Netanyahu met UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed during the Iran war.
The UAE said relations with Israel are conducted publicly under the Abraham Accords and are ânot based on non-transparent or unofficial arrangements.â It added that claims regarding undisclosed visits are âentirely unfoundedâ unless officially announced by UAE authorities.
The unusual public contradiction appears tied to political sensitivity surrounding wartime coordination with Israel during the Iran conflict. Despite the dispute over disclosure, Israel-UAE strategic ties have continued since the Abraham Accords, including reported regional and security coordination during the conflict.
The Wall Street Journal reported Netanyahuâs visit to the Emirates took place on March 26 and included senior Israeli security officials.
â ď¸ Iran warns UAE over ties with Israel during war: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi stated: âNetanyahu has now publicly revealed what Iranâs security services long ago conveyed to our leadership. Enmity with the Great People of Iran is a foolish gamble. Collusion with Israel in doing so: unforgivable. Those colluding with Israel to sow division will be held to account.â
He added: âThe UAE was directly involved in the aggression against Iran. Neither the U.S. military presence nor ties with Israel protected you â reconsider your policy toward Iran.â
đ If this gave you clarity â forward it.
