Israeli Channel 12 reported that Washington instructed Israel to provide advance notice before targeted assassinations in Lebanon and informed Israeli officials that the United States does not permit the destruction of buildings in Lebanon.
🚨 Evacuation Warning Issued in Southern Lebanon: IDF Arabic-language spokesperson Avichay Adraee issued an evacuation warning to residents of the southern Lebanese village of Ain Qana. The statement said Hezbollah ceasefire violations were forcing the IDF to operate in the area.
Residents were instructed to immediately leave their homes and move at least 1,000 meters away from the village toward open areas.
🛡️ Northern Israel Security Alerts Continue: Multiple hostile aircraft infiltration alerts were activated across northern Israel, including in Metula, Kfar Yuval, Manara, Margaliot, and Kiryat Shmona.
The IDF stated that several projectiles were identified toward areas where IDF forces were operating near Metula and Kfar Yuval. Some projectiles were intercepted, while others fell adjacent to Israeli forces. No injuries were reported.
Additional infiltration alerts in northern Israel were later determined to be false identifications. A suspicious aerial target detected following alerts in Manara and Margaliot was later resolved without injuries.
📢 Home Front Command Guidelines Unchanged: Following a situational assessment, Home Front Command announced that existing defensive guidelines remain unchanged and will stay in effect until Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 20:00.
🛢️ Netanyahu Addresses Gulf Energy Shifts: Prime Minister Netanyahu stated that global energy markets are already adapting to instability in the Gulf region. He said countries have diversified supply chains and developed alternative transportation routes following repeated disruptions in Gulf oil markets.
Netanyahu added that future energy infrastructure may increasingly favor westward routes toward the Mediterranean rather than relying exclusively on Gulf transit corridors, which he said could create strategic opportunities for Israel.
