🇮🇱 ISRAEL EXTENDS VENEZUELA AID MISSION; TRUMP BACKS NETANYAHU AMID ICC DISPUTE
🇻🇪 LONGEST HOME FRONT COMMAND HUMANITARIAN MISSION: The Home Front Command’s emergency mission to Venezuela has entered its third week, making it the longest humanitarian assistance mission in the command’s history.
Approximately 32 Israeli experts are operating in La Guaira, near Caracas, where extensive coastal destruction has left hundreds of buildings destroyed. Most other international missions have already departed, while the Israeli team remains on the ground.
The delegation is helping Venezuelan authorities transition from emergency response to long-term rehabilitation. Mission commander Brig. Gen. (Res.) Yossi Pinto said Israel is assisting with national damage assessments, decision-making, priority setting and rehabilitation planning.
The recovery process is expected to continue for months or years. The team is working closely with Venezuelan authorities and providing professional tools intended to strengthen the country’s long-term recovery and preparedness.
🔸 TRUMP-NETANYAHU MEETING DISCUSSED: The Prime Minister’s Office is engaged in negotiations with the White House to coordinate a meeting between President Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu next week, according to Ynet.
Netanyahu aims to travel to Washington to attend the funeral service for Senator Lindsey Graham on July 27.
⚠️ PMO REJECTS MAMDANI’S ICC CLAIMS: The Prime Minister’s Office called the International Criminal Court a “kangaroo court” with no jurisdiction over Israelis after New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani described Netanyahu as a war criminal in a New York Times interview.
“The ICC is a kangaroo court that has no jurisdiction over Americans or Israelis. Its bogus arrest warrant against Prime Minister Netanyahu was issued by a disgraced former ICC Prosecutor, Karim Khan, a few days before allegations of sexual misconduct against him became public.
“It was a clear attempt by Khan to divert public attention and seek protection from scrutiny.
“Under Prime Minister Netanyahu's leadership, Israel has taken unprecedented wartime measures to minimize harm to civilians while confronting Hamas, a genocidal terrorist organization that uses Palestinians as human shields and deliberately targets innocent Israeli civilians.
“Instead of backing Khan's criminal behaviour, Mr. Mamdani should focus on fixing the damage his policies have caused New York. Like Karim Khan, Mamdani appears interested in diverting public attention from his follies and attacking the leader of the Jewish state and the only democracy in the Middle East.”
🇺🇸 PRESIDENT TRUMP: NETANYAHU WILL NOT BE ARRESTED: President Trump said: “Benjamin Netanyahu will not be arrested, in any way, shape, or form, while in the United States of America.
“He is fighting against the Islamic Republic of Iran, which recently killed 52,000 innocent protestors, and has spent the last 47 years killing American Soldiers, and others.
“The only ones that should be arrested are the people that led Iran into this unprecedented SPIRAL OF DEATH AND DESTRUCTION, something that should have been dealt with years ago, by previous Presidents!”
