⚠️ Lebanon Front: The IDF issued evacuation warnings for multiple villages near Tyre and Saida ahead of planned strikes on Hezbollah infrastructure. Residents were instructed to move at least 1,000 meters away from Hezbollah facilities and combat sites. The military stated the warnings followed Hezbollah violations of ceasefire understandings and emphasized that civilians were not the intended target.
💥 Israeli Air Operations: Following the evacuation notices, the Israeli Air Force conducted extensive strikes on Hezbollah infrastructure across southern Lebanon. The IDF later confirmed that forces dismantled the launcher used in rocket fire toward the Kiryat Shmona area from Zebdin. Additional Hezbollah military structures and attack infrastructure used against Israeli civilians and IDF troops were also struck.
🚀 Rocket Fire Toward Northern Israel: Hezbollah continued rocket launches toward northern Israel, triggering sirens in Kiryat Shmona, Masad, Eilabun, and surrounding Galilee communities. Some projectiles were intercepted while others fell in open areas. No injuries were reported. The IDF described the launches as continued violations of ceasefire understandings.
🛡️ Aerial Threats Along the Border: The Israeli Air Force intercepted multiple suspicious aerial targets in areas where IDF forces are operating in southern Lebanon. Additional incidents included an intercepted rocket aimed at IDF operational zones and explosive drones that fell near Even Menachem after hostile aircraft infiltration alerts. Several incidents did not activate sirens in accordance with operational protocol. No injuries were reported.
❌ Ground Operations Against Hezbollah: The IDF stated that approximately 60 Hezbollah operatives were eliminated over the past week during defensive operations south of the Forward Defense Line. Forces struck more than 100 Hezbollah infrastructure sites, including weapons depots and observation positions, while dismantling dozens of additional terrorist facilities. During operations in the Ras al-Bayada area, troops located and destroyed a Hezbollah weapons storage site. The military stated that hundreds of Hezbollah infrastructure positions have been dismantled so far as operations continue to protect residents of the western Galilee.
🕯️ Fallen Golani Soldier: The IDF cleared for publication the death of Staff Sergeant Negev Dagan, 20, from Dekel, a fighter in the Golani Brigade’s 12th Battalion, who was killed by Hezbollah mortar fire during operations in southern Lebanon overnight.
May his family be comforted among the mourners of Zion. And may HaShem avenge his blood.
⚠️ Eastern Border Readiness Exercise: The IDF launched the surprise “Sulfur and Fire” readiness exercise along the eastern border in the sectors of Divisions 80 and 96. The drill simulated sudden outbreak scenarios and large-scale terrorist infiltration attacks while testing readiness from the General Staff level down to operational field units.
🚁 Large-Scale Mobilization Drill: The exercise included reserve mobilization, aerial deployment of forces, special operations activity, and rapid-response scenarios conducted without prior notice. Residents near the Dead Sea hotel area and across the eastern border region were advised to expect increased military movement and aircraft activity. The IDF clarified that no active security incident was taking place.
🇮🇱 Lessons From October 7: Chief of Staff LTG Eyal Zamir stated during the exercise that one of the central lessons of the October 7 massacre is the need for “a constant and high level of readiness” against surprise attacks across all command levels. Zamir emphasized that rapid deployment to attack scenes can contain incidents early and significantly reduce their scale during the ongoing multi-front war.
