Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu convened a limited security discussion, while the Security Cabinet met with all senior security officials participating. The IDF assesses that Iran’s leadership is still considering whether to involve Israel directly.
Channel 14 reported that the direction of the next phase depends on President Trump. An Israeli security source told i24 News that U.S. operational plans for the coming days had been finalized and were awaiting his approval.
🎯 U.S. strikes expanded across Iranian military, drone-production and industrial sites.
Targets included the Electronic Industries Complex in Shiraz, one of Iran’s largest drone-component manufacturing hubs, and a location near the Sana'ye Electronic Industries Complex in northwest Shiraz.
Additional strikes hit Sirik, reportedly to disrupt Iranian intelligence access to the Strait of Hormuz; two military sites in Khormoj; an area near Bandar Imam Khomeini, where no casualties were initially reported; a military area southwest of Tabriz at approximately 2:35 AM; a location near Silvaneh in Urmia; and an industrial zone near Khomein.
Iranian officials said separate attacks inside Tabriz killed one civilian and injured several people, while the Urmia-area strike caused several injuries.
🛰️ Iran claimed attacks on U.S. forces as a report detailed previously undisclosed American casualties.
The IRGC said two ballistic missiles targeted U.S. C-17 transport planes and P-8 command-and-control aircraft at Aqaba Airport using intelligence supplied by people in Jordan. Iran later launched four missiles toward King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba; all were intercepted.
The New York Times reported that dozens of American soldiers had been injured in Iranian attacks in Jordan in recent weeks. Reported damage included military helicopters, an early-warning radar system, an equipment shed and an MQ-9 hangar at Ali al-Salem Air Base, where several drones caught fire.
U.S. officials said CENTCOM is not required to disclose non-fatal casualties, particularly when personnel are expected to return quickly to duty, and said withholding details denies Iran tactical information. Some service members reportedly described severe injuries despite their official classification as “minor.”
The IRGC Navy separately claimed it destroyed drone-maintenance facilities at Al-Sakhir Air Base in Bahrain, TF59 vessel-preparation sheds at Salman Port, and naval special-forces support facilities at Arifjan base in Kuwait.

Trump said the directive had been passed to Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, Joint Chiefs Chairman Daniel Kane and U.S. military commanders.
CENTCOM separately emphasized sustainment operations, including Marines replacing the transmission on a High Mobility Artillery Rocket System vehicle, and said logisticians remain prepared to keep U.S. forces operationally ready.
✈️ Washington is adding fighter aircraft and refueling capacity in the Middle East.
CNN reported that additional F-16 and F-35 fighter jets and aerial-refueling tankers are being deployed. South Korea’s Foreign Ministry urged visitors to leave the Middle East immediately unless they had strong reasons to remain.
