⚠️ ISRAEL AND U.S. PRESSURE CAMPAIGN AGAINST IRAN EXPANDS ACROSS MILITARY, ECONOMIC, AND DIPLOMATIC FRONTS
🛡️ Israeli security officials are reportedly examining renewed offensive options against Iran following internal discussions involving the IDF, Mossad, and Prime Minister Netanyahu. According to Channel 13, Israeli defense officials believe Iran’s current condition presents a strategic opportunity to resume operations and complete unresolved objectives. The Mossad reportedly assessed that renewed confrontation could further weaken the Iranian regime and accelerate internal deterioration.
🌍 Discussions between Israel and the United States remain focused on Iran’s nuclear program and the future of ongoing negotiations. Channel 13 reported that President Trump assured Prime Minister Netanyahu he would not compromise on the issue of Iranian uranium. Israeli officials are reportedly monitoring changes in Washington’s position while avoiding public messaging that could be interpreted as advocating immediate escalation. Trump said the U.S. expected to receive a letter from Iran and added that it would soon become clearer whether Tehran is deliberately prolonging negotiations.
⚡ Israeli officials also reportedly urged Washington to include Iranian energy infrastructure in any future military campaign. According to Channel 12, Israel conveyed that attacks on Iran’s energy sector could rapidly disrupt Tehran’s position and increase pressure on the regime to negotiate. Israeli officials reportedly view the energy sector as a central pressure point rather than a secondary target set.
🚢 U.S. and allied military activity across the region continued to intensify. American media reported increased warship movements in the Gulf of Oman, with assessments suggesting recent maritime confrontations may have served to evaluate Iranian naval responses. Britain announced the deployment of the destroyer HMS Dragon toward the Middle East for a possible multinational mission near the Strait of Hormuz. Separate local reports described unusual military traffic at Ben Gurion Airport, including the temporary parking of numerous U.S. Air Force aircraft, reportedly requiring Israeli civilian aircraft to be relocated due to limited space.
🚨 Iranian military messaging also escalated during the same period. The IRGC stated that missiles and drones belonging to its Aerospace Force are prepared for launch against American regional targets and naval assets if ordered. Additional IRGC Navy statements warned that any interference with Iranian commercial shipping or oil tankers would trigger direct attacks against U.S. bases and ships operating in the region.
📉 Advisors to President Trump told The Atlantic that the administration believes sustained economic pressure is beginning to affect Iran’s negotiating position. According to the report, the maritime blockade and broader economic measures are placing increasing strain on the Iranian economy and may eventually force Tehran back into talks under less favorable conditions.
🛰️ U.S. officials also accused Russia and China of helping Iran rebuild strategic capabilities following recent losses. The New York Times reported that Russia has been transferring drone-related components to Iran through the Caspian Sea. Separately, the Financial Times reported that the U.S. sanctioned the Chinese company The Earth Eye after allegations that it sold a high-resolution satellite to Iran that was later used to assist targeting operations against U.S. assets in the Middle East.
