🔴 CLUSTER MUNITION IMPACTS IN CENTRAL ISRAEL: Iran’s latest ballistic missile attack on central Israel is assessed to have involved a cluster bomb warhead, dispersing bomblets across multiple locations in Tel Aviv and the surrounding area. Footage shows one of the strikes in Tel Aviv.
Magen David Adom says 15 people were wounded in the attack. A 53-year-old man is listed in moderate condition after being hit by a blast, and 14 others were lightly hurt.
Rescue forces and medics are responding to several bomblet impact sites. IDF Home Front Command Search and Rescue units are on their way to the affected areas, and the public has been instructed to avoid gathering there and continue following official guidelines.
🔴 ADDITIONAL MISSILE FIRE TOWARD EILAT: A separate Iranian ballistic missile triggered sirens in Eilat, in what was reported as the sixth attack since this morning. Preliminary military assessments indicate the missile was likely intercepted, and no injuries have been reported.
❌ HAMAS FINANCIAL OPERATIVE ELIMINATED IN LEBANON: The IDF, acting on intelligence from the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet), carried out a targeted strike this week in Lebanon and eliminated Walid Muhammad Dib, a senior figure in Hamas’ financial network. He was involved in funding Hamas’ military activity in Lebanon.
According to the IDF, Dib was responsible for transferring funds to Hamas departments in Judea and Samaria, Lebanon, and other countries. He was also involved in recruiting operatives and directing terrorist activity from Syria and Lebanon.
His elimination is part of a broader series of strikes against the funding sources of terrorist organizations since the start of Operation Roaring Lion.
❗️ IDF RESERVIST CHARGED WITH SPYING FOR IRAN: Raz Cohen, a 26-year-old IDF reservist serving in an Iron Dome air defense unit, has been arrested on charges of spying for Iran in exchange for money.
According to the indictment, Cohen communicated with an Iranian intelligence agent via Telegram beginning last December.
He allegedly shared sensitive information about the Iron Dome system, the locations of Israeli Air Force bases and Iron Dome batteries, and personal details and contact information of several individuals.
The indictment says these actions were taken at the agent’s request in order to assess the possibility of recruiting those individuals to cooperate with Iranian intelligence.
It also states that Cohen was aware he was in contact with an Iranian intelligence agent while carrying out these activities.
