⚠️ IRAN ULTIMATUM, HORMUZ TALKS AND REGIONAL MARITIME ATTACKS

⚠️ TRUMP ISSUES IRAN “LAST CHANCE” WARNING AS HORMUZ TALKS CONTINUE: President Trump accused Iran’s leadership of publicly denying talks while privately seeking negotiations.
Trump stated: “Iranian leadership is unbelievably duplicitous! They ask for a meeting, some would say ‘beg’, talks begin, with more scheduled in the immediate future, and they say, openly and proudly, that they are not having any discussions, that nothing is being talked about, and they’re only dealing with ‘Oman’. They then go on to give their usual blather in saying, the Strait of Hormuz will be operated powerfully by them, when it is already completely controlled by the US Navy and our ‘blockade’ or, as some say, ‘The US wall of steel!’. Nothing gets through to Iran, unless we want it to, and nothing will get through, unless a deal, or total surrender, is accomplished. Whether Iran wants to admit it or not, we are, in fact, talking of a solution to a problem that they have caused, for decades. It is very simple, Iran will never have nuclear weapons!”
Trump also said: “The confrontation with Iran is going very well.”
When a reporter stated, “Talks with Iran are now off,” Trump responded: “They are going on right now. It’s an amazing thing. They are not denying it this time. But for some reason, when they are talking, they don’t like to say that they are talking.”
“This is Iran’s last chance to sign an agreement,” Trump said. He later added: “This is their last chance to sign a good document.”
Explaining his strategy toward Iran, Trump said: “I want to give them one last chance before I cut their heads off.”
The U.S. Secretary of State said progress had been made in talks concerning the Strait of Hormuz and expressed hope that an agreement would be reached “very soon.”
Iran’s Foreign Ministry denied direct negotiations with Washington, stating: “There are currently no negotiations with the American side. Our current negotiations are with Oman regarding a safe passage for ships through the Strait of Hormuz.”
Pakistani government sources told Anadolu Agency that no date had been set for renewed U.S.-Iran negotiations, despite Trump’s statement that talks would resume today.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Iran has demanded an immediate end to the U.S. naval blockade, the lifting of sanctions on Iranian energy exports and recognition of its right to collect maritime fees.
Bloomberg reported that Iran is considering permitting European countries to clear mines from the Strait of Hormuz.
⚓ TWO VESSELS STRUCK IN REGIONAL WATERS: A cargo vessel was hit by an unknown projectile approximately 20 nautical miles northeast of Al Khasab, Oman.
An Indian vessel was struck by a missile near Yemen’s coast and sank. All crew members were rescued.
