⚠️ IRAN THREATENED STRIKE ON ISRAEL AS IDF ELIMINATED 150+ HEZBOLLAH TERRORISTS BEFORE CEASEFIRE
⚠️ IRAN AND HEZBOLLAH THREATS: An Iranian military official told Tasnim News Agency that Iran was prepared to launch an attack on Israel if a ceasefire in Lebanon had not been reached. He said all necessary preparations had already been completed, including placing missile launchers on operational status, until President Trump’s ceasefire announcement.
Mahmoud Qamati, Deputy Head of Hezbollah’s Political Council, stated: "There will be no return to what was before March 2nd, and the finger of resistance will remain on the trigger".
⚠️ US-ISRAEL CLARIFICATION REQUEST: Israel asked the White House for clarification after President Trump wrote that Israel was “prohibited” from carrying out additional airstrikes in Lebanon. According to Axios, Prime Minister Netanyahu and his advisers were shocked by the post.
⛔ IDF CEASEFIRE ENFORCEMENT IN SOUTHERN LEBANON: IDF officials told CNN that Israel will enforce the “Yellow Line” to prevent the return of residents to the area. Lebanese residents will not be permitted to return to 55 villages within that zone.
The IDF is also authorized to continue dismantling Hezbollah infrastructure during the ceasefire.
🎯 PRE-CEASEFIRE STRIKES IN LEBANON: In the 24 hours before the ceasefire understandings took effect, the IDF struck hundreds of Hezbollah terrorists and terror infrastructure sites used to advance attacks against the State of Israel and IDF soldiers. The strikes eliminated more than 150 Hezbollah terrorists and hit about 300 military infrastructure sites, including launchers, command centers, and weapons storage facilities across several areas in Lebanon.
Among those eliminated was Ali Rida Abbas, Hezbollah’s Bint Jbeil Sector Commander. He had advanced numerous attacks against IDF soldiers and the State of Israel over the years, particularly during Operation Roaring Lion, and had also worked to restore the Bint Jbeil sector while holding several positions within the Hezbollah terrorist organization.
Abbas is the fourth Hezbollah Bint Jbeil sector commander eliminated by the IDF since the beginning of Operation Northern Arrows. The IDF says more than 1,800 Hezbollah terrorists have been eliminated in Lebanon during Operation Roaring Lion.
🕯️ FALLEN IDF SOLDIER IN SOUTHERN LEBANON: It has been cleared for publication that Master Sergeant (res.) Lidor Porat, 31, from Ashdod, a fighter in Battalion 7106 of Regional Brigade 769, fell in battle in southern Lebanon. His family has been notified.
The incident occurred during operational activity in IDF-controlled territory in southern Lebanon, amid the ongoing ceasefire. According to an initial military probe, an engineering vehicle drove over an explosive device believed to have been planted by Hezbollah before the ceasefire, and soldiers securing the heavy machinery were hit by the blast.
Nine additional soldiers were wounded in the explosion, including one seriously, four moderately, and four lightly. Immediately afterward, the IDF struck several targets in the area, and the wounded were airlifted to a hospital. Further details are still under investigation.
