🎯 HAMAS COMMANDER WHO HELD NUMEROUS HOSTAGES ELIMINATED: The IDF confirmed the elimination of terrorist Muhammad Bassam Muhammad Mushtaha, who was struck two weeks ago in the northern Gaza Strip.
Mushtaha served as a company commander in the Shati’ Battalion of Hamas’s military wing. He infiltrated Israeli territory and participated in the October 7 massacre. Throughout the war, he took part in holding numerous hostages captive, including Tsachi Idan, Corporal Noa Marciano, Ziv Berman, Omri Miran, Ori Megidish, Naama Levy and Matan Angrerst.
According to the IDF, Mushtaha recently attempted to advance terrorist attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians and was subsequently eliminated in order to remove the threat.
🇮🇱 DEFENSE MINISTER ORDERS PLAN TO TRANSFER CIVILIAN ENFORCEMENT TO POLICE: The Defense Minister instructed the IDF to prepare a plan transferring all enforcement authority regarding civilian matters concerning Israeli communities and the Israeli population in Judea and Samaria to the Israel Police.
“The IDF’s role is to fight Palestinian terrorism and focus on defending the borders and communities against threats. Full responsibility for enforcing civilian matters and maintaining law and order will be transferred to the police.”
🪖 IDF GENERAL STAFF EXERCISE COMPLETED: A military exercise took place Friday morning at the IDF General Staff Headquarters in Tel Aviv. During the exercise, increased movement of security forces and vehicles was noticeable, and sounds of gunfire and explosions were heard in the area.
The exercise had been planned in advance as part of the IDF’s 2026 training program and was not related to a security incident.
⚠️ IRAN REBUILDING MISSILE CAPABILITIES FASTER THAN EXPECTED: IDF and Mossad officials are shocked by Iran’s rapid military recovery following the 2026 war, according to The Jerusalem Post. Despite thousands of strikes, Iran is rebuilding its ballistic-missile capabilities much faster than expected.
Israeli intelligence assesses that Iran could restore its missile arsenal to pre-war levels by 2027 and once again become a “major threat” by 2028.
♟️ CENTCOM COMMANDER REPORTEDLY PUSHING FOR RENEWED STRIKES: Channel 13 reports that CENTCOM commander Adm. Brad Cooper is pushing for renewed U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran, including attacks on oil, gas and electricity infrastructure.
He allegedly told senior IDF officials that such strikes could force Iran to “change its position”. CENTCOM has denied the report.
⚓ UAE REPORTS ATTACKS ON TWO OIL TANKERS: The UAE says two Emirati oil tankers belonging to the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) were attacked in the Strait of Hormuz.
