💰 U.S. INTENSIFIES ECONOMIC PRESSURE ON IRAN: President Trump announced what he called the “MOST CRUSHING ECONOMIC OPERATION EVER TAKEN AGAINST ANY COUNTRY,” saying Tehran had failed to take the opportunity offered for a deal. He warned that countries allowing financial institutions, businesses, airports or government entities to provide Iran with a “lifeline” would face “TREMENDOUS Economic Consequences,” specifically targeting oil smuggling, swap lines, cash transfers, exchange houses, ship registries and front companies. Trump called on U.S. allies to join the campaign, described it as an “ECONOMIC D-DAY,” and said: “IRAN WILL NEVER HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON.”
🇮🇷 TEHRAN REJECTS TRUMP’S CAMPAIGN: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqhchi called the initiative a diversion from U.S. economic problems and said renewed pressure would deepen Iranian hostility while threatening the global economy and national sovereignty.
💥 ANOTHER UNEXPLAINED BLAST IN TEHRAN: A fuel tank exploded in the Iranian capital. Separately, Al Arabiya reported that Trump told his negotiating team that the chances of reaching a deal with the Islamic Republic had declined.
🇹🇷 ISRAEL-TURKEY FRICTION EXTENDS ACROSS SYRIA AND THE MEDITERRANEAN: Defense Minister Israel Katz accused President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of dragging Turkey into “dangerous adventures in Syria” and warned that Israel would not allow any entity to threaten its security. Turkey’s Defense Ministry denied that a Turkish military delegation was present at Abu al-Duhur Air Base before or during an Israeli attack and called on Israel to halt what it described as reckless strikes.
⚓ ISRAEL TRACKS GROWING TURKISH NAVAL ACTIVITY: Israeli security officials told Channel 12 that Turkish Navy vessels have approached Israeli Navy ships several times in international Mediterranean waters in what they described as an “attempt to demonstrate presence and power.” The officials said the security establishment is closely following the Turkish fleet’s expanding presence and activity in the Eastern Mediterranean.
🚫 ISRAEL REJECTS REPORTS OF APPROVAL FOR A GAZA STABILIZATION FORCE: The Prime Minister’s Office said the political leadership has not approved the entry of an international stabilization force into the Gaza Strip. Israel also reiterated that reconstruction will not begin before Hamas is fully disarmed.
